Risky business. People can get killed if caught in possession of foreign content. I just hope they know what they are doing and handing them off safely.
I had a friend who was a beekeeper. Honey does not go bad- it can crystallise under certain conditions, but you can make it liquid again by gently heating. There's literally been honey found in 6000 year old tombs that was safe to eat. But at his honey processing plant they had to label everything with an expiration date.
I'm reminded of non-vaxxers, flat earthers, climate change deniers and other trumpists.
Some Aboriginal Australians apparently assumed they were seeing honest to god dead people returning from the grave, and who can blame them?
Before was was was, was was is. When is is is, was was was yet will be will be will be.
Sorry but this gives serious Nazi vibes like "only traditional, naturalistic and pretty-looking art is valid". Whoever posted this does realise that art like the one below was banned by the Nazis, and the artists persecuted?
I wish I could do that with several lakes, clean out the bottom I mean.
A giant slab of stone pressing his head into the steering wheel, in an unending stream of honking, only to be relieved hours later when the emergency personnel pry him away from it. One of the slow witted ones peer closer to his face to ask, "you good, mate?". But mate was in fact, far from good...
I'm glad astrology exists, because people used to write about it 1000's of years ago, and because of that, we can tell where a lot of our mythology comes from. Silver linings.
You don’t actually need to kill Baby Hitler. You just tell him his art is worth his weight in gold (do not downvote I can predict downvotes from my downvote fairy follower, I saw this somewhere else and no one downvoted that one)
Now, don’t be mean to Hubble. Hubble was the one to capture this image which shows the oldest stars and galxies in this universe imagesqtbn...sqpCAU.png
And if they tried to face forward to get in, they'd go ar*e over tip and still fall into the boat due to the weight of the cylinders.
Wait didn’t Hera get pregnant just by herself without someone else, just to prove to Zeus she’s powerful at all sorts of stuff? And then yeeted the baby off Olympus because it was deformed? I dunno
Never thought about that. Just if people might be intrested the words in swedish is not pronounced the way as the words in English. Just to make it easy; the G in Get is a soft G. Like you you pronounce the y in yoghurt, and a long E aa in yeti. Basically just say yeti whithout the i in the end. In Killing the K is pronounced as a ch sound. As in chair or child. So just say chilling 😆
There are also two islands named Snake Island and Round Island. One is long and thin and infested with snakes and the other is round and has no snakes. Guess which is which.
This one makes me sad : if only Marie Curie (and others) had known to protect herself discovering radioactivity....
Australians: can we all wake up please! Our colonial history, let's face it, was pretty sh!tty. We need to acknowledge that it hasn't been clean, stop forcing celebration on a day of mourning and change the date. If anyone close to you has ever died around a day of celebration, you will realise what it feels like. Stop forcing thousands of people to celebrate on a day when their relatives have died, on a day that celebrates how they've been kidnapped, assaulted, been seen as less than human and looked down upon for hundreds of years. All we need to do that is to change the bloody date. It really isn't a big deal to change it, but the benefits is would have are a big deal.
The whole '[x] degrees hotter' misleads people as to the severity of climate change - what they need to hear is the consequences for them: "[y times] as many fires/floods/tornados/hurricanes for your area", "Dought conditions destroy [z proportion] of farming industry in your country, and food prices will increase by 300%" If they can't relate it to consequences for themselves, or at least people in their own country, a lot of people don't feel any urgency. "People you don't know, in another country, potentially dying in the future." is not immediate enough to convince most people to make sustained changes to their behaviour.
Over my dead 10-gallon hat! (No 37.85412 liter hat on my head!)

There is a reason for the money to be spent. Exoplanet hunting, star gazing etc is very hard so we need a much more powerful telescope. Trying to find an exoplanet from earth is like trying to see a moth over a streetlight in Paris from New York city
Not British or American, but there's a big difference between a 90+ year old lady dieing surrounded by family, and 3000 people being murdered by fire.

I like the big bang theory. Downvote me all you want. I will die on this hill.
Nah... the anabolic steroids used to get that big can have somewhat of the opposite effect, uh...under the thong.
