This Lithuanian Artist Loves Surprising People With His Dark Comics (40 New Pics)
Interview With Artist“Needle Wig,” otherwise known as Deividas Tamosiunas, is a comic artist from Lithuania. The artist’s work has been previously featured on Bored Panda (click here for part 1) as Deividas is quite well-known for his subtle yet dark humor.
Tamosiunas has racked up over 17k followers on Instagram with his most recent comic going viral and getting over 382k likes on the platform. The said comic is a good old joke about the Nokia 3310 (if you know, you know) which was also included in the post (for your viewing pleasure).

They will outlive all humans. All of earth. *And will still have power.*
True about that era. I had several Nokias. We used them for self defense.
Bored Panda reached out to Deividas with some questions! First, we wanted to know how the artist started making comics and what was his inspiration for that.
"So, one of the first comic strips came from a day when I was sitting in my room eating pasta. Then suddenly I heard a message sound on my work phone and immediately knew that right now I had to go and take someone's shift. That made me furious because it was already late, and I felt way too cozy sitting in my room.
So, as I'm standing up to check the phone, I start mentally getting myself into a working mood, and therefore getting angrier and angrier. But as soon as I turn on my phone I see that it's not a message from my work but just a battery notification that has the same sound as a text message."
Well, butter my behind and call me a biscuit. If that isn't the truth, I don't know what is!
I don't know you well enough to butter your behind. Sorry, Biscuit.
Load More Replies..."It was such a relief, and that made me laugh. Also, I felt kind of stupid for getting that riled up. So, I thought I had to make a comic about this. And that got me started making other comic strips.
Some of the ideas I draw straight out of my own experiences, and some are just thoughts about life, people's behavior, uncomfortable situations, cats, dogs, or anything in general that catches my attention."
i've been doin it for a while now, you can join me if ya want! :D
Load More Replies...When it comes to his ideas and how exactly he comes up with all of them, here's what Deividas said "Generating ideas is difficult for me because sometimes I can't come up with anything all day. Sometimes, though, they just come to me when I walk in a park, talk to someone, or overhear a random conversation on the street or wherever I'm prancing around."
Slightly reminds me of under the whispering door by TJ Klune. It’s a really good book if you are into LGBTQIA+ paranormal romances about the afterlife.
Given how subtle yet dark some of the artist's comics are, we were wondering whether he has any themes he'd rather stay away from. "I haven't thought of any specific subject or theme that I wanted to leave out, and there are no ideas on my back burner where I'd think that it might be too sensitive to someone as well."
First, make 4 right or left turns to see if they are actually following you
My brother and I used to play "circle tag" like this, running in a small circle and seeing who would catch who first. 😁
They forgot the guy watching two guys running around in a circle going wtf?
They could just stab you when you go back to follow them... Or they may take you to their Leir... And kill you there...
Reminds me of when I was in high school. On holidays I used to have my mom wake me up just so I could have the pleasure of going back to bed.
True. My friends and I greet each other by screaming and jumping on the closet one
Wait y’all don’t just go from number one to number four after meeting them?
Legit me and my friends but it takes a few days for the last two
You've got to take a 20 minute break and do something else, trust me, it helps!
I feel this, I just get up because laying there worrying and be angry about trying to get to sleep doesn't help. I get up watch something funny, eat a snack and go back to bed when I actually feel tired.
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKIN NIGHT: Brain: hey.. Me: what? Brain: let's think about all the times you screwed up.. remember that one time you ate soap? (not real story) *5 HOURS PASS* Brain: crazy right..? Me: i hate you. MORNING AT SCHOOL : Me: ok.. 5/5 = 0.20 .. what is the answer.. Brain: good night. Me : BRAIN WAKE UP WTH MAN IM IN THE MIDDLE OF A QUESTION PLEASE *i get 60 out of 500* me: I HATE YOU SO MUCH *night again* brain: it is morning. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Load More Replies...A crowbar and sack.... why? Idk, is it funny?? U better bee-lieve it
Load More Replies...Apparently, our brains are supposed to be protecting us from traumatic memories when this happens. i’m not quite sure how leaving my family room, walking into the kitchen, and forgetting what I came for would be traumatic, though.
I am always walking into the kitchen for some reason idk why
Load More Replies...In school, when about to beaten up, Stephen Fry would say, "No, no, no, stop! You'll give me an erection!"
Oh, not like that! Pervert! /s. Please don't take this the wrong way, I was refrencing something! :).
Load More Replies...The normal ears look so out of place after all the other comics.
Yeah, and if it were a bull, HIS teats would be fine, but a cow's teats have to stay inside the bra!
Load More Replies...Does she have flamethrowers?? How would a cow even think to create flamethrowers out of pitchforks??
it is not a flamethrower. It is a flamethrower-nun-chuck-pitchfork. Duh.🙄
Load More Replies...I think I’d be a little creeped out by the third incident, to say the least!! A single-minded Doughnut (Donut) Dasher would not exactly be appealing after one or two times!
Remember what the MPAA says: horrific, deplorable violence is okay, as long as people don't say any naughty words!
Load More Replies...That's not a spider in the last panel tho..Spiders have 2 body segments and 8 legs.
well the comic person still got there point across we still know their intentions
Load More Replies...I never kill spiders. I use a piece of paper and a cup but I did not anticipate the whiplash plot twist that was about to happen to Bob. 😬
It was an illusion/simulation. Metaphor for how you think other people are so much better than you but it might just be a front.

Load More Replies...Those animals arent piggin.... u feather make some pancakes orange they gonna break-fast u..... sry couldnt help myself😅😅😅
Me everytime I agree to do the thing and then when it comes time to do the thing, I dont want to do the thing
Why does this fairy tale promote necrophilia? Like what is the point, why do we tell this to our kids?
It gets worse: in the original uncensored version he straight-up impregnated her while she was out of it and she woke up to find she suddenly had two kids.
Load More Replies...It looks like most of the caged people have either both right or left feet.
Finally someone else gets how creepy that is. Right up there w Santa knowing when you are awake
Bruh i thought about this all the time when I was younger, him and santa clause
No it’s a bottle of ketchup, ok? Just ketchup
Load More Replies...love the comics, but im curious as to why all the characters have pointy ears? an artstyle thing i would assume?
I must admit that this was really good, both in terms of drawing and stories. Started following him on Insta.
Kitten. She's doing great. In fact, she just pounced me. Last night we killed all the toy mice, but it's okay. They had it coming.
