Become an intern, break the cycle while still in school and most often get some easy beer money too!

It'll be even more true. Certain groups are trying to ban thoughts and opinions they don't like

Actually, in university paper you're only allowed to quote other people. Only in your thesis later, you are allowed to express your opinions. I hate education systems as well but imma say it's a pretty decent system to sift some of the bad apples before they start talking s**t.

Bottom picture looks very familiar. The nun that taught 6th grade would always make me carry my desk to the hallway outside class. Who would have thought throwing the chalkboard eraser back at the teacher that threw it at you would get you in trouble. Every other time I was out there was for disrupting class.

Apprenticeships are not easy to get. Some will have 1500 applications for 20 to 30 spots.

I supervise college kids. I don't have a college degree. Not one single one of my kids thinks I, or anybody else without a degree, is stupid. This meme is typical of anti-"elite" propaganda. They are however, correct that there are other paths to financial well-being outside of college.

I agree. I've got a university degree but even while pursuing it, I didn't think less of my friends who chose a different route. I can support myself with my writing, but I supplement my income by teaching AP English part time, and I'm always telling my students that there are many paths to a productive and satisfying career. College is one of many.

I would rather Adam get that degree in philosophy if he doesn't have the talent for something like electrical work. I will do basic home improvement but if electricity is involved I always leave that one to professionals.

I was both. More people should understand that "introvert" doesn't automatically equal shy. I'm introverted with every aspect of my social life, but I can still present to people when necessary. 😄

I was also both. I could publicly speak better than almost anyone in my class. Didn’t mean I enjoyed it or even felt comfortable doing it. I was just able to put on a mask and fake the confidence, and I’m the furthest thing from an extrovert.

I'm introvert and I'm more comfortable speaking in front of people I don't know than people I do know. It's because I know in the back of my head that the ones I don't know I may not see again and the ones I do know won't let me live down a mistake and most critical.

I guess I'm more extroverted, but I don't necessarily like speaking for the group. Then again I'm a smart åss and speaking up can get me in trouble, but if you do it with a smile it can go down smoother.

I’ve worked in customer service as a manager for around fifteen years. People I work with are always surprised to find out I’m an introvert because I am a fun and friendly goofball at work. I have zero trouble with presenting in front of people or talking to people. But I only have so many hours a week where I can be “on” like this. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy being who I am at work or that I’m not being my authentic self; I do and I am. I just use up most of my peopling during those 40 hours a week. Outside of that I’d rather be reading a book with a cat on my lap, trying out a new recipe that makes a mess of my kitchen, painting in my basement, or just generally not having to interact with anyone. My partner, cats, and close friends don’t count because we are all comfortable being in a room together without having to say or do anything except peacefully coexist. That’s what it means to be an introvert to me.

I'm introvert but I'm arnold at that picture. I'm lazy and stupid, I'm not great with the materials in our presentations. But people acknowledge my talent for hosting talkshows. So they always make me the "moderator" who introduce the topics, take questions, and sum up our answers to the audience. They're controlled environments where the audience behaves, and I don't actually have to know the answers, i just direct the questions to my group.

If the test is built in a pop-out that instantly fills the whole screen and is designed to close if you attempt to minimize before hitting ‘finish’ or ‘submit’ then yes…
