Most people make bad decisions when they're young. Toxic relationships, quitting school, and splurging on non-essentials are all up there. The same can be said about tattoos; how many of us have gotten inked at a mere 18 or 19 years old and now regret it with a passion after many years?
For many people, it's lyrics by a band they liked as kids or an ex's name. But terrible tattoos come in many shapes and sizes. This list from the "Nope Inked" page on Instagram will prove that to you. Was it a terrible tattoo idea from the start or just a bad job by an unskilled artist? We'll let you decide for each of the tattoos below!

I think the worst part is that the art style of the eyes make it look like it's a cartoon drawing of a young person/child, but then there's the hair-moustache and it all just.. ::shudder::
Look, guys, that's ACTUALLY what my cousin Todd looks like. This is an accurate portrait of him. He's a little sensitive about his looks, so we try to be genteel about it and not tease him about it. XD
This is one is a portrait of my Uncle Harry. He's kind of a d!ck because he's the eldest child of my grandparents, and he thinks he'd be a better pack leader than my mother (who is stronger than he is.) None of us like him, not even his own cubs. Feel free to mock HIS looks, unlike my cousin Todd's XD
When even your tattoos are questioning your life choices, it may be time to re-evaulate things.
That's probably his mom/grandma, but... on your FACE, my friend?
Fried egg, toast ( maybe) with a bite out of it and a dragonfly, some people are just strange and/or stupid
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say there's a train tatted on the other arm.
Like many tattoos, this one should be interesting when it starts fading (turning blue-ish) .....
Apart from the spaghetti arm and huge hand on the little girl, this isn’t TOO bad…
