Having more than one cat can make life a little busier, a little louder, and a lot more fun. If you’ve ever watched two cats play, nap together, or simply stare at you in perfect sync, you know how quickly they can steal your heart. People on subreddits like r/cats and r/aww love sharing these moments, filling the internet with cute, funny, and sweet photos of feline duos.
In this article, we’re celebrating those pairs. From best-friend kittens to grumpy-but-loving older siblings, these photos capture what life with multiple cats is really like. No matter what they’re doing, these cats show us that having more than one can bring extra joy to a home.

This picture is absolutely gorgeous. If these were my cats it would be on the wall.

"The Vet Is So Scary!!"
We had to evacuate our apartment last year after a fire. My Meeps was already terrified from the super loud fire alarms, and then I had to shove her into a carrier as quickly as possible. She was absolutely traumatized. She looked like this in the carrier as we waited to be taken to shelter. All I could do was hold her carrier and talk to her. Poor babies all around.

Certain things are simply necessary. Two instead of one was one of those things. Excellent choice.
As per OP:Saw a kitten (tortie) up for adoption on my cities subreddit and when I went in to meet her I was greeted by another girl (white? Don’t know what they’re called) and both would not leave my shoes alone. Came to find out that when Vivian (3 month) first found her way to the shelter Zoey (2 years) took on the big sister mode and I wasn’t about to break up two bonded girls. This was my first time getting cats on my own and I can’t believe I almost didn’t get both of them. They’re great sisters even though Vivian is an absolute s******d who form tackles Zoey at every opportunity.
"They Won’t Let Me Put The Halloween Bowls Away"
My cats are the same way. I have an old wire mesh fruit bowl that serves as "nest" for any of my three cats at differing times of the day. I put a towel in it, and even though it is technically a bit snug for them, each of the three can be found in it at varying times. I guess I'll buy two more . . . . .
Don’t need to! They’re still going to fight for the original one!😂

My parents once had a white cat with two different colored eyes (blue and brown). Deaf as a rock. Dumb as a stump. I miss that goofball.
In childhood I had a cat who looked just like him; all white except for three faint gray spots on her head, and she had one green eye and one blue eye. Her name was JP. Didn't stand for anything, just JP. 💚🩵

My two boys do it as well, definitely a show of dominance.🤣
