Passenger Loses It After Kid Stabs Her In Flight With Fork While Mother Slept: “Lady, Get Your Kid!”
A 14-hour Qatar Airways flight became the backdrop of a tense moment after a young child allegedly stabbed a passenger mid-flight with a metal fork—while her mother slept peacefully in her seat.
The footage, shared yesterday on TikTok (April 15), shows a woman talking with a flight attendant, expressing her disbelief.
“She’s over here stabbing people with forks. She just randomly stabbed me with a fork!” the passenger said.
- A child allegedly stabbed a passenger mid-flight with a fork on Qatar Airways.
- The child's mother was asleep during the incident, unaware of the situation.
- The event sparked a debate online about the proper way to handle disruptive children.
- The video of the incident went viral, especially due to the passenger threatening the child with a sandal.
As the camera pans to the chaotic row, a flight attendant swiftly reaches to snatch the fork from the child’s hand while another crew member gently wakes the child’s mother—who remained blissfully unaware of the danger her daughter had put herself and others in.

“Her momma didn’t do nothing,” the woman filming later explained in a follow-up video.
“At this point, we feel like the mom was probably tired and definitely wanted somebody else to watch her kids.”

In one of the clip’s most tense moments, the aggravated passenger, having reached her limit, is seen holding up a sandal, threatening to strike the girl.
“I’m gonna f**k her up,” she is heard saying. “I’m going to smack the s**t out of her. I’m not kidding.”

The video received mixed reactions from netizens, with some viewers taking the passenger’s side, arguing that the woman picked up the sandal in a desperate attempt to teach the little girl a lesson and prevent her from harming herself or others.

Others took issue with the violent reaction, believing there were better ways to handle the situation than threatening the child with physical harm.
According to a passenger, the little girl was already acting out of line before the fork incident occurred

“You are all laughing, but this is not okay,” one TikTok commenter scolded. “It’s only a child for crying out loud!” another added.
The passenger uploaded a follow-up video explaining the situation, detailing how the warning signs were there well before the stabbing incident took place.

“Maybe about 30, 45 minutes prior to that, maybe even an hour before that, there was another lady that was sitting right with a little girl. The little girl was actually standing, grabbing the TV remote, pulling it, doing all this stuff,” she said.

The passenger explained that her reaction was a last resort attempt at getting the mother’s attention, who had refused to discipline her daughter despite her bothering other travelers.
“We almost cussed the lady out because we were like, ‘Lady, get your kid!’” she said.

The woman then described the exact moment her sister realized that something was off.
“My sister said, ‘I think she’s gonna try to stab me.’ I’m like, ‘Girl, maybe she wants you to take the fork.’ Obviously not. What happened? The girl definitely came over there and stabbed my sister.”
While some netizens sympathized with the mother, others deemed the situation unacceptable

The passenger then revealed that the situation went from bad to worse, as another child on board—who she believed to have been a sibling—”damn near started terrorizing” the cabin.
As the footage grew in virality, some sympathized with the exhausted mother, while others made it clear that there’s no excuse for allowing your child to disturb others unchecked.

“I think any parent can understand how exhausting both raising and traveling with a child can be. She sounds like she was traveling alone,” one viewer wrote.
“It’s assault, and the lady that got stabbed can and could sue the parents. It’s not okay to be touched, much less stabbed, by unsupervised children,” another replied.
Instead of discussing the matter with others, some decided to make light of the situation.
“That kid is gonna end up on the no-fly list before puberty,” a viewer said.
“This is why I carry noise-canceling headphones, melatonin, and a taser in my carry-on,” another stated.
“Entitled.” Netizens took to social media to condemn the mother’s lack of responsibility

In a plane my kids had to stay seated with their belt on. I took books, coloring books and games with me and they had to stay quiet. Never had any problems with them.
We flew loads as kids, as my dad worked for an airline and was often overseas where we would go out to join him. This behaviour NEVER would have been tolerated by my mother, who would be the solo parent on the way out. This girl looks older than toddler age, I would say she is at least 5, but still, who would think it acceptable to be asleep while your child is unsupervised. Looks like her brother is awake in the back too!
Load More Replies...If I got stabbed by someone, I don't care what did it, my first reaction is to physically remove the threat. If it's a small child, that kid would be taking a brief flight as I either kick it away or backhand it away. Honestly the woman threatening it with a chancla seems like a fair response.
This is on the mother. I've been there, I've travelled with my kids, and they would have been grounded until Christmas had one of them done half of what these two did. Control your effing c****h goblins, and stop expecting me to be the mom. SHE'S the mom.
What I came to say - mother should be better, I don't give a rat's a**e how tired you are. If your kid has been a little a*****e BEFORE a flight, you sure as hell watch them DURING a flight.
Load More Replies...Mama should have been watching her kids I don't care how tired she is. Sounds like both of those kids need their butts spanked. So many people don't teach their kids how to behave or punish them in any way. My kids were very rarely spanked. They knew if they did something wrong there were consequences like taking things away for a certain amt of time.
I really loved the ‘takes a village approach’ with the thong threat 😂 that was surprising and unexpected
Load More Replies...So what if she took a slipper in her hand to defend herself? She's supposed to let herself stab by someone with a fork just because that someone is a little girl in a pink dress?
The look on that child's face says she pulls stunts or similar regularly. I know that face well, she pushed and pushed till the woman reacted. The mother needed to have sorted her child out, not left it to others.
I agree, that's not the face of a child surprised at receiving a negative response, or even really put off by what's being said
Load More Replies...Stand up and should at the mom - wake your f**king a*s up and stop your brat from stabbing people with her fork.
“If you do not come get your child and make her sit quietly for the rest of the flight, I swear I will open a door, throw her out of the plane, and put everyone else here out of their misery. On the count of 10. 1…2…3…” (For the triggered amongst you, NO. Of f*****g course I would NOT actually follow through on that threat. But I bet it sure as s**t would wake mama’s a*s TF up and get her to finally take charge of her vicious brat.)
Load More Replies...I don't like flying, and I don't like kids. This situation would have sent me over the edge.
If the parent and cabin crew cannot contain a small unruly passenger with reason/parenting or bribes any reasonable discipline should not be questioned or publicly shamed.
We never flew but we did take a train from VA to FL when I was 11, and we rode coach which had quite a few seats for lots of people. My parents made sure I had activity books and other things to do on the 24 hour ride. There were other children in my car too, younger than me, and there was no running up and down the aisles or bothering other riders. Parents would take them for walks to the restaurant or club car, as mine did w/ me but overall I would say every child was well behaved.
The sad thing is, had this woman yelled at the kid and done anything to prevent being stabbed with the fork she would be in the wrong and potentially arrested. People giving excuses for the mother not parenting the kid ( she's exhausted, single parenting is hard ect ) plus excusing the kids behaviour ( she's just a child, she doesn't understand ). Bull, this little s**t and her mum are both arseholes! But people frown when you call kids names, in my opinion that kid was a bratty little cùnt.
You can pair them with jeans, dresses, skirts – the possibilities are endless!Cuir Jackets

I would just take the fork from the kid and hope that her screeching will wake her mom up
'She's only a child.' Ffs, yes only a child and they need told what not to do in some situations.
Unfortunately these days you're liable to be done for a*s**lt if you smack the little ba***rd. So probably best to report it to the flight crew and if that doesn't work, take video and the moment the child uses her implement in a manner consistent with a weapon, scream bloody murder and then go after the parent legally. I don't care how old she is or how tired the mother is, poking sharp objects into random people is never okay.
I actually think the way she reacted was quite chill. Yes, she told the flight attendant and yes, she hold up her slipper. She did not actually slap or threaten the child - so totally fine. That mom though, how can she not wake up from this? The child - while she does look cute - has the face of a demon child, that does this all the time - without consequences.
This is when I get up, find the flight attendants and have a little conversation. I show them the video and calmly say, I will not file a*****t charges if they put a stop to it immediately. Of course I’ll have a witness w me recording that conversation. If the attendants don’t listen, then all hell will break loose. The plane will be forced to land. I’ll let the passengers know why. Press charges. Call out the airline. Release all the videos to the media. Make sure everyone in the world can clearly see who the attendants were that ignored the situation. No one…not 1 single person better not even think about touching me on an airplane w/out my consent. Stab me, I’ll stab you back
That little girl looks old enough to know it's not ok to stab people. Her actions really show how crappy of a parent her mom is. I don't blame the random passenger lady for freaking out.
Just one more reason to add to the existing thousands why I fkn HATE kids. I'd have backhanded the little bish.
See? That's the problem right here. They just SAID those things, they didn't DO anything. They even didn't move from their seats, just waved a sandal. But you chose to focus on that rather than the actual problem. Oh, and of course, let's give that unsupervised kid with a fork in the middle of the aisle the benefit of the doubt over the word of an adult to top it all off.
Load More Replies...Amazed at some of the responses. Yes the mother is a POS, and yes the kid needs boundaries and discipline. But if youre incapable of restraining yourself from striking a child, you don't qualify as a functioning adult. If you are capable of such restraint and brag that you'd hit the kid anyway, youre a steaming pile of s**t
No, I wouldn't hit the kid. But, I would take away that fork. She could have hurt herself. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
Load More Replies...In spite of the risk to those ridiculous fake fingernails, she should have early on picked the brat up by the back of her dress and dumped her on the mother's lap.
the little girl is lucky that the woman only waved her shoe at her. i know that there are adults out there who would not hesitate to respond aggressively to the child regardless of age. for myself, i would have admonished the kid and reported to crew - stating that mom better wake up and get in her lane as a mother.
You're on a plane with your kids and a plane-load of strangers AND you're sleeping AND your kids run around? Look, I'm in a good place to talk about absolute exhaustion and that still shocks me. Also because kids should have been taught to not roam around (don't tell me some kids are X or Y, I'm raising an ADHD boy), should DEFINITELY know to NOT bother other people let alone stab them with anything at all. And if any of MY kids did something like, you are SO TOTALLY welcome to scare them with your shoe (as long you don't hit). I definitely want them to learn that if they attack random people, they'll get a similarly aggressive response. It's life!
I haven't read the story thoroughly but from what I read, the woman had a right to be upset. That doesn't in any way justify shaming a small child on social media. Does she have permission to spread this child's image? Does she understand the long term impacts of this type of public shaming on children?
Legally speaking, a plane is considered a "public space" (similar to a restaurant or in a theme park in terms of definition of a "public space".) Thus, people have no reasonable expectation of privacy on a plane, legally speaking. You can take photos and film other passengers in the plane, and you don't need "permission" to post said images or videos publicly. Also, young children have "generic" undefined/unrefined features and generally look nothing like what they'll look like once they're mature adults. No one except family members/close family friends/people who are familiar with this child will "recognize" this child in order to "shame" her. As an aside, the child isn't the one who would be "shamed" publicly - it would be the negligent mother/parent.
