In a separate video, Alexandria filmed the much-talked-about machine in closer detail. As the fitness influencer shared, the “rock climbing stair master” has a lever that controls its speed.
She then showed a demonstration of what the slowest speed looked like, which left viewers thinking that level 10 could only be mastered by Spiderman himself.
The Florida resident added that contrary to what many people believed, the “machine doesn’t eat you at the bottom.”
When Alexandria was tired and rested her feet on the ground, the machine stopped automatically.
It’s not known where Alexandria’s gym bought the machine, but a company called Treadwall Fitness offers a similar product on its website.

I just started getting into bouldering (rock climbing closer to the ground without the need for a rope and harness). I cannot tell you just how much strength and flexibility it takes. God, I'm only doing V1s and getting winded and falling, and think I'm in pretty damn good shape. Needless to say, this looks like one hell of a good and fun workout.
They’ve had these for over a decade now. There is one in an arcade in either orange beach or gulf shores, AL (I can’t remember which) that I did back in 2009.
If you watch videos of similar (nearly identical) treadwalls in use, you'll see that they nice at a much more reasonable speed, even at their max setting. Some have sensors that stop the wall when the climber's foot is at the lowest position. I think this machine is broken, and given the noise it makes a responsible gym would have noticed and roped it off as our of order.
I have not seen a "treadmill" like that. I've seen mechanical indoor moving walls, but they "roll" when the person's weight moves up, the roll due to gravity.
My only comment is that they need to raise the wall about 20cms up, because the bottom section where it moves under the edge of the mat could catch someone's foot and crush it before they could pull it out.
