    Weird that the US puts L twice in instalments, but only once in dialling. Strange country.

    The US also uses "ize" ending for almost every word normally ending in "ise", except exercise. That said, I live in the US, and I promise you there are stranger things here. For instance, my kids have to do active shooter drills starting in 1st grade, in case a lunatic is in the school with a pew pew.
