I've been drawing since I knew how to hold a pen. I’m fond of geek and pop culture, and the most enjoyable thing for me is revisiting the famous cartoon heroes of my childhood.
Unlike humans, animated characters are very different from one another - they have various, sometimes very odd, forms, they are made of different unearthly substances, and lastly, cartoon characters are, undeniably, different colors - even when they seem the same. Is the blue color of a Smurf the same as Megaman's? I don't think so.
That's why I tried to classify some of the famous cartoon characters by color so I could see how different shades and tones interact in a group of heroes of supposedly the same color.

Yeah, I decided that it doesn't count if it's just his clothes ! If he decides to wear a green shirt... His skin is still white. That was my thought :)

Barney. The dinosaur. I don't care tour opinion- he saved me during pre term labor, forced bed rest and a 3 year old with ADHD, a husband who didn't have time off and family across the country. Barney is life. I have my second child because of Barney.

There is also no brown group to include characters like Taz, Jerry, Snuffleupagus, Scooby Doo, Captain Caveman, Yogi Bear, Chip and Dale, Wile E. Coyote, Cleveland Brown, the Goombas and/or Donkey Kong from Nintendo and DugTrio from Pokemon.

Really nice artwork, and a great concept ^__^ Kind of makes you wonder on a scale of alignment where they would land compared to characters of the same color - but then I wonder where people like Beerus or Crash would land :D

Your drawings are amazing and this is really engaging and creative! You could stare at these pictures for so long, just looking at all the components...! Just a quick thought though, your title is slightly misleading because you say you found out something but didn't actually say what you found out... maybe change that? You are clearly very talented!

I think Yellow team is missing Wall-E, and Green should have Slimer from GhostBusters. Even still though, I want to get these prints for decorations.

I love these. Tweety is on the yellow team but Sylvester is not on the black team? Also missing Felix the Cat on the black team. But I suppose there be every character. Such a great concept.

Okay, so what did you find out? The leader up at the top never explained. That they are different colors and sometimes weird shapes? It's not making sense to me.

Don't you see that color, in a way, defines a personality? If pink is cute, purple is definitely mean and there is lot of pride on the green side...
