This Little Accessory Will Turn Your Wall Socket Into A Cute Elephant

This cute little doodad, which was designed to decorate any round electrical socket and turn it into a little grey elephant, is the work of Idan Noyberg and Gal Bulka, who submitted it as a DIY submission to Designboom.

It works by fitting in between the plug and the socket, and makes the plug’s wire look like an elephant’s trunk, especially if it is directed downwards from the plug.

However, numerous readers on Designboom have pointed out that the accessory is probably highly unsafe – it can cause the electrical plug to form an incomplete connection and it can prompt children to play with the socket.
