The situation is truly truly horrible and we must do whatever we can to clean up the oceans. I always cut my plastic rings to ensure they don't endanger fish. That being said if she unfortunately passed away, and you were on a deserted island for many many months with nothing else to eat - at what point does she go from sushi to cannibalism?

OMG, a partial clear-cut! But note that it was just a partial cut. This makes room for grasses, ferns, bushes, and other smaller vegetation to cover the opening. And the process of reforestation begins all over, with almost all herbivores having a field day, eating at all the fresh new greenery they can munch on. Its a Win Win!

Somehow, this one really makes me sad. Maybe because of his expression, I don't know.

Fun fact you would have to consume around 800 apples in a single setting to feel the effects of the pesticides they put on them. And commercial organic operations use pesticides as well, the ones they use are just classified as "natural" but typically contain heavy metals (like copper) which bio-accumulate and can have negative neurological effects.

This one reminds me of that brave Chinese protester who stood in front of the tanks.

I would have gone with feral cat overpopulation. Feral cats can be very destructive to their environment

You'd think with a green lantern ring, clean up would be easy
