Deaf Pupils’ Drawings Turned Into A Beautiful Fashion Collection

So because someone that is deaf made it I can't the dresses are ugly? I'm probably the first because its not PC to criticize something kids or impaired people have made. But I don't think they are all kids and I don't see why we would have to lower the bar just because they are deaf I think that would be a slap in the face for them. Their impairment should have nothing to do with the design results, in fact they should actually have a higher standard because their visual skills are more trained by lack of hearing. It got nothing to do with being rude or angry, I just critique the results as I would anything else, giving them special treatment or praise on this because of their impairment would be a sad thing in my eyes.

Dear Arjan, I think or at least hope, I am able enough to see the difference between a critic and an aggressive and rude feedback. There are plenty, less ugly ways to give your opinion because your opinion do not scare us, I can assure that. If we put our work and face publicly we know someone might not like us or our work and that is fine. In second place, according to me, you are wrong somehow, because you are not that only person in the world that own the right to say what is wrong or right, beautiful or ugly. You are not reliable when it comes to say whether these clothes are ugly or less. You are not saying that you do not like them, you are saying that they are ugly... and in addition, you are saying it in a very rude way. If you say that the clothes are ugly, this does not have to be true. The truth here is that we tried to drive the attention toward these children and the main objective is not the fashion itself. We kept it all simple and "poor" because this is a awareness show

This is a project that aimed mostly to raise awareness!! It was not supposed, since the start, to sell a lot of these creations, for they are personalized, handmade and there is not an industry behind it. The fact this project got more a spiritual value rather then a financial one, should be applauded in a world where everyone is doing things for money. Some do things for the spirit.

So raising awareness for something that everyone already knows about? Would they do this for kids without disabilities? Would they do this for kids from broken homes?
