Irakli Nadar is a 28-year-old artist from Tbilisi, Georgia. He creates incredible hyper-realistic digital artworks. The details, colors and strokes are perfect and sometimes it’s hard to believe that this unique art was done on the computer.
Irakli says “There are many techniques for portrait painting and all of them are different. You’re probably wondering what the best technique is. Well, I hate to break it to you, but there is no ‘best drawing technique’. Many people tell me that they don’t think they will be able to produce paintings as good as mine. My aim is to create visually stunning images from the drawing ideas I have and to make them better every time. You should think like that too.”

It literally says "digital painting" in the title, why are people assuming its a photo? He starts off with using airbrushthen adds details. But before that, he manipulates the reference photo to his likings then draws out the portrait on another canvas, He doesn't trace it.

I'm pretty sure that if you were to ask the artist they would say they did that on purpose. I find it gives my brain a bit of a tweak that draws me into the picture more. Check out #4, super realistic eyes. This person knows exactly what they're doing.

These are photos manipulated in Photoshop, look at the original photo, and I have seen other photos too, you take a photo, paint the photos, add some filters and name it digital art?! Girl I’m a Digital Artist. I seen artist do the same with paper and pencils but this guy I seen with my own eyes he painting. He draw it then airbrush first. If you don’t know digital Art you should learn. It not filter. Go to his website and you will see it for yourself! It call hyper realism. He not the only one doing this. It other digital artist doing the same. It about studying photo reference. I’m learning and studying hyper realism myself. It not fake at all. He got proof. Y’all expect Art to be look like a painting that why. It different style of art you can use.

All of these are photos, the guy has almost cero own work, just rerpoductions. there´s a lot of people that have debunk this "paintings". The mayor proof is that he "likes" to rerpoduce even small details in texture and jpg compresion pixelation (that is ridiculous). want to see good painters? go watch Wesley Burt, Carla Ortiz, Ashley Wood, Feng Zhu, etc etc. This is all digital and all bs, this guy gives a bad name to all digital artist.

The eyes don't look real??? How ridiculous. These DRAWINGS are incredibly spectacular and you want to find fault with something for not looking real enough? Good Lord how picky can you get? The guy posts his art and people say, oh it's great BUT it's not perfect. Jesus.

The eyes are always the less real feature. I guess the artist has a thing for girls with small noses, plump lips, freckles and huge eyes. Almost all of them look like the same girl. It's really well done, but I wish the faces were diverse.

Yes, these are totally FAKE! Finally someone agrees with me. I'm a professional Digital Artist and i can easily verify whether any digital artwork is fake or real...But those people who posted the article are innocent cause they are not aware of this. It's so easy to fool people but i'm a professional artist so i can't be fooled, so guys please don't believe in these artworks they are absolutely fake and it's so easy for me to understand that they are all fake! Not one but all. If you ask the artist to create a speed paint video without a single pause he would never make it because he is lying.

Photorealism isn't a new concept, Chuck Close wasn't the first either—then again, Close didn't use a computer, unless IBM punch cards had capabilities beyond purely mathematical applications. So to you, Sir, your argument is moot, give the kid some credit.

I think these are FAKE! Please don't judge me, LOL! :p He just edited, painted & made some smart changes over a photograph so that it should look like a painting. He changed the eye shape, added some brush strokes, light effects and separated the frequencies and now it looks like a painting! Tell me what do you think? I'm 90% sure these are fake...

How he brainwashing if you don’t know hyper realism. I saw a full process video of him doing this. He draw it first then airbrush. Did you airbrush give you more realistic look if you know how to do it right. I saw it and people always assumming but it’s okay if you don’t know.
