I Turn My Son’s Meals Into Pop-Culture Characters, Animals, And Other Things (69 Pics)
My food art journey began with bento boxes. In 2016, my then 4-year-old son used to be a picky eater and would only eat food that looked fun and interesting. I started making him lunchboxes that included animal-shaped rice balls, SpongeBob-inspired sandwiches, etc.

Nope. I have never been a fan of whole fish... but the cat is very sweet.

I don't know if I could eat these if I was little... it would make me very sad to mess them up.
You should open a restaurant focusing on fancy dishes like these for children and adults alike. It'd be a hit!
Giraffe - Rice with egg, hotdog, ham, asparagus, strawberry.
I almost want to say Addams family because this reminds me of it
I love the chicks... it must take time cutting up carrot for legs and wings.
Mom and her 3 Little ducks - Rice, pork cutlet, curry.
I love the owl here too, and I wonder how the rice was done to come out this color.
The nest is made of ham... What did that mother bird do to make that nest?
Some people don't even bother reading the actual article... (also very cool food art!)
I liked #65. The hair reminds me of our granddaughters' Au Pair's hair, except hers is black with a slight auburn tint to it. Maybe the girls (3 of them) and I can surprise their Au Pair with something like this some time soon. She'd deeply appreciate it. (And then the girls can dig in. lol!)
I always feel sorry for the kids of these parents only getting cold food. Just like all food on the internet it is impossible to arrange these, make beautiful photos and keep them hot,
As pretty as all these pictures are, these articles are kind of getting annoying. There are so many "mothers" doing this now - and the story is always the same. "To get my kid to eat, I make food into art, yay me!" (Bored Panda alone has at least a dozen of articles like this). Coincidentally, the food in the pictures is aways of the variety that is easy to use for different shapes - mostly rice. SO much rice. Also: many of the "pop culture references" are way outside of what a child would know and recognise. (Not just here, in the other articles too) This alone is very telling and makes it clear what the food art is really for... social media.
Some of these are incredible, but this woman is clearly a stay-at-home mum. Ain't nobody got time for that!
