It's a highland coo and pretty common in the north where I am from. You can see them without effort and there's a town up north that has a free roaming herd that wander the village all day and return to their 'hill' for night. Robert Carlisle filmed 'Hamish Macbeth' there and the coo's kept trying to eat the furry mics. I lived close by and visited a lot.

They are highland coo's. I'm a highlander and we still have these everywhere up north. They roam freely in many areas that are rural and loads of farms breed them. these are more common where I am from than the regular black and white dairy cows.
