In several countries around the world, Mother’s Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of May to honor mothers and express appreciation, love, and gratitude.
Pratt has been married twice, first to comedic actress Anna Faris and currently to author Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of action star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Pratt and Faris met in 2007 on the set of Take Me Home Tonight and were married from 2009 until their separation in 2017. Their divorce was finalized in 2018.

The former couple share one child together, Jack Pratt, who is now 13 years old.
Following his separation from Faris, Pratt married Katherine in 2019, and the pair now share two daughters and a son.
To mark Mother’s Day, the Jurassic World star shared a carousel of photos featuring his wife and their children, accompanied by a heartfelt caption.
He wrote, “The center of our universe. We are beyond grateful for you, @katherineschwarzenegger. Happy Mother’s Day!”

The lighthearted post did not sit well with many fans and followers, who quickly noticed that Chris once again failed to acknowledge his ex-wife, continuing a trend that has sparked criticism in previous years, including 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Some fans argued that, as a public figure, it would be “classy” for Pratt to acknowledge the mother of his first child, especially since he has previously praised Katherine as a “step-mama” to Jack.
One user wrote, “Let it not be forgotten that you have another child,” while another added, “Where’s the first mother??”

A third user commented, “What about your ex-wife she’s not included how sad I lost all respect for you a long time ago.”
However, others defended the actor’s choice, with one person commenting, “People acting like he should post about his ex wife is insane lmao.”

The post also unexpectedly sparked comparisons between Tom Brady and Chris because of how differently the two men handle public Mother’s Day tributes to their former partners.
While Pratt has consistently omitted Anna from his posts, Brady has made a point of publicly honoring both of his exes, Gisele Bündchen, with whom he shares two children, and Bridget Moynahan, the mother of his eldest son, John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan.

This year, the former NFL star shared an Instagram Story featuring a rare photo of Bündchen kissing her stepson, Jack, while Bridget stood smiling nearby, captioning the post, “Happy Mother’s Day.”
Another snap showed Gisele relaxing in bed with her two children, alongside Jack, which Brady captioned, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers in this world…”
Praising Tom’s gestures, one netizen wrote, “The best thing a man can do for his kids is to love their mother, doesn’t matter if they are together or not.”

Another comment read, “I love that he has respects his exes just because it didn’t work out doesn’t mean you didn’t love them at one point in time. They are both the mother’s of your beautiful children !!”

However, skeptics argued that Brady’s post may have been more performative than genuine, with one user commenting, “He’s a media personality now. He knows he would be dragged if he didn’t.”
While the exact reason Pratt never publicly acknowledges Anna on Mother’s Day remains unknown, reports suggest there is no bad blood between the two actors.
Although social media frequently fuels rumors of tension, the former lovebirds have consistently described their relationship as supportive, respectful, and centered around co-parenting their son.
Last November, the pair were even spotted sharing a friendly hug on Thanksgiving before Chris reportedly took Jack to volunteer together.
