There’s a big difference between being frugal and being cheap. Frugal folks are smart with their money. They budget carefully and look for good deals, making sure they get the most out of every dollar they spend.

Cheap people, on the other hand, go to ridiculous lengths to avoid spending a single penny of their own, often at the expense of everyone around them. And honestly, they can be pretty exhausting to deal with.

So it’s no wonder plenty of Redditors have taken to r/ChoosingBeggars to call out their cheap buddies. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the wildest requests and most entitled moments they shared. Scroll down to check them out for yourself.

Imagine thinking you with your 240K followers have hit the “big time,” and can now behave like a Kardashian! And then have to work with the “little people” who want to charge you a pittance for doing something that’s VERY important to you, and you stomp on their heads because you’re MUCH “too big” to hafta deal with this nonsense? Time to tell her to sυck your dіck. After all, that’s what the Kardashians did!

He mentioned he can’t pay much because of his “diagnosis,” which implies that his bud knows he’s got a big problem, yet instead of being grateful, tells the bud to “STFU” because he’s gonna blow up and be Bruno Mars, and poor, sick friend wants in in the аsshole’s future, a future that’s not guaranteed to the giver. Whether he blows up or not (and the chances are smaller than infinitesimal that he will), I think the sick friend oughtta cancel his donation and then block his unjustly overconfident friend who doesn’t deserve anything. I even suggest that before canceling his donation that he posts this exchange on Kickstarter for others to be able to see the kind of аsshole they’re giving their hard-earned money to!

Does “mates” imply you give eah other cash? Is that part of the definition? I’ve known an awful lotta mates and never saw this in action, but then again, I’m not aware of how it works in *all* places where people use the term.

What exactly would dude provide for that $300? If it’s just companionship over a coffee, then absolutely not, and it’s an ignorant ask to try to take advantage of a bud like that. (At least he didn’t end it with “I thought we were mates; I guess not.”)
