Firefly was perfect, it didn't suffer the inevitable decline that all long running shows suffer when they're kept going by accountants long after the creatives involved have run out of ideas.

Too much time has passed to continue it. Ron Glass has passed away, Whedon killed Wash in the movie, all the other actors are 20 years older.

I just finished rewatching Firefly and Serenity after all these years. As much as I enjoyed it, there's no going back. Just leave it be. There are plenty of Sci-fi/Westerns out there.

By far the most overrated show ever made by the most overrated sub-par writer Whedon. It's not the worst show I've ever seen, not even really that bad. By I can't stand the rabid fan base who act like you just kicked their puppy if you say anything remotely critical about it.

This was something I watched every week and quite enjoyed. Feel like it may have ended at the right time, but I doubt it would work without Tim Roth, so a reboot probably is a bad idea.

Love Tim Roth, was so mad when they cancelled it. I actually learned lying body language things to look for.

Only 1st season was good. I liked it so much.

Was a really great comedy. It was a queer show, written by mostly queer writers, with mostly queer actors, and a few golden allies, like Rhys Darby and Tika Waititi. It's really funny, and if you're straight but don't mind seeing two guys kiss (that's as heavy as the romance gets, mostly), you should watch it. It will make you lauhg.

Really hoping another streamer picks up the show for a third season.

I prefer binging an entire show, season after season, so Our Flag has been on my Watchlist because the creator, David Jenkins, planned for 3 seasons. Since Max cancelled the show, and it doesn't appear any other site is picking it up, this is as good a time as any to binge it.

It was good but they wrapped it up nicely. No need to do more.

The whole of series four was a shambles that would have had Sir Arthur spinning in his grave.

Option 5: Find and destroy every single copy of the final season episodes, and additionally, find a way to cleanse all the viewers' memories of that egregiously implausible and unpleasant finale. -Then- leave it as is. Started out spectacular. Ended by insulting the intelligence of all the viewers.

Seasons one and two were awesome, it went downhill fast after Watson's wedding. What they need to do is stick a couple "forgotten" seasons in before Moriarty is killed off.

It started really well but the show got sillier and more pretentious. The last couple of series were disappointing.

I STILL miss this show. Last I read, it was a scheduling issue (too many conflicts) that kept it from continuing. Great actors, lots of energy.

Watched it on tv and was gutted to learn it had been cancelled. Bought it on dvd so I could re-watch without adverts.

It was obvious straightaway that it was never going to survive as a network show. Too unconventional. The only way it could have gone on was if they killed off everything that made it stand out, and started churning out formulaic paint by numbers mediocrity. Better the 22 exquisite episodes we did get than that fate.

More wonderful Bryan Fuller work that alot of people apparently missed.

This one was one I really hoped would keep going.

Haven't got around to watching this yet despite the positive reviews by both critics and audience. Netflix claims there weren't enough viewers, but I think it boils down to money. So much cheaper to mass-produced moronic reality shows than pour money into a series.

In what way has Star Trek not been continued??

I day this as someone who loves Star Trek, NO MORE! Slapping the Star Trek name on things just feels like a cash grab at thus point.

The Star Trek (and also Star Wars) universe is completely played out. Time for some new ideas.

It’s a great show, one of my favourites but it is done.

The show had a great premice and much potential. Wish they had done less detective stuff and more world and dinosaur stuff.

Ummm, they did know that an asteroid was coming to wipe out 99% of every living thing on the planet, right?

One of the best series ever!

Still disappointed this one ended. Had so many storylines that won’t solved

It was intended to be longer, the storyline of that serial killer in the making never got to develop

Really should have been given the 5th and final season the creators intended. The abrupt cancellation left a lot of untied threads dangling. Raising Hope used some of the story lines originally intended for Earl, but there's no character overlap. A lot of guest appearances by cast members from Earl.

A great show, but everyone involved is so much older, so a reboot would be the only way. It should be left alone.

This was awesome. I was gutted they cancelled it. I expect Karl Urban has bigger and better things to do, though.

It was ok, but one season was enough.

Any attempt to revisit the show would risk tainting the legacy. Let's be happy we had those seasons that we did, but let's not try to catch lightning in a bottle twice.

The story arc of each character's growth was too gracefully completed for there to be more.
