Korean Artist Turns Animals Into Original Characters That Look Like They Belong In An Anime (17 New Pics)
Have you ever woke up and wondered what some of your favorite animals might look like in a 2D universe? Or even in different art styles? Korean artist Nitro committed themselves to transforming various animals into anime characters, and the result of these artworks pretty much stands for itself.
The Korean artist finds various images of animals and uses them as inspiration. Using the image as a reference he creates unique-looking anime characters while maintaining the distinctive characteristics of the said animal.

In case you didn't know, Nitro is an artist from Seoul, South Korea, and his work is quite well known across the internet as his main forte is working on original character designs that come not only from using specific references such as animals. Nitro certainly doesn't lack imagination as he uses various inanimate objects such as statues, or even lesser-known video game characters that he turns into monsters and whatnot.

Nitro mainly uses Photoshop to create his amazing artworks. Speaking frankly, to most artists, Photoshop is great because of its versatility. The best drawing function of Photoshop is truly how well it works with existing photos. You can use all kinds of tools to adjust photos and draw on top of them with amazing results. It is easy to see why artists favor this system when making adjustments, and it allows you to have easy access to your references (exactly the way Nitro does it, as he even goes as far as to attach a small image to the side).

He saw the honey badger and was like "Aww, look at the cute little FOOD" and lunged at him. They fought for a while until the honey badger overpowered and decapitated him. His wife, who saw everything, attacked the honey badger but he fled. Driven by the hunger for revenge, the lioness waits for the perfect moment to strike at her prey...

There's this interesting thing I know about lionesses and their mating habits. During the time that lionesses are ready to mate the pair generally mates every 20–30 minutes and if the male lion get tired and the female wants to keep going I heard they will start biting at the males balls and this along with the image of the human version of the Lioness kinda made me chuckle a little.

Tbh I feel like they don’t look very alike in my opinion… yeah the bull is muscular but idk if it’s really that muscular if it were a human. I just wouldn’t really think of it as a “huge muscular wrestling champion”, but that’s just my opinion. The art still looks great though 😊

That bull not cow is strong enough to flip a car over. True cows/bulls may be cute but this cute bull could easily end someones life. And this specific bull looks like it has pretty defined muscles I think the writer of this article is spot on with what they drew as representation of the bull. But that is just my opinion. I'd love to hear what you think about my thoughts on this Morgan though.

Hyenas are very cool animals! They are matriarchal. I was saw a nature program following a particular pack. The leader was getting old and she had apparently been training one of her daughters to take over. Then, the pack was being stalked by a lion. They had all gotten away, except for that daughter. Her mother went back and threw herself at the lion, enabling the daughter to escape. Mom however, didn’t. Think about that. Mom deliberately sacrificed herself to save her daughter and the future of the pack. Utterly amazing. Don’t ever try to insult someone by calling them an “animal”. We can only hope to be as strong, smart, and brave!

His questing eyes and manic appeal are borderline irresistible to me tbh! 🥰 Plus nothing wrong with being a scavenger. Far more noble than an outright killer from a survival ethics standpoint.
