50 Hard To Explain But Impossible Not To Love Animal Pics, As Shared By This IG Page (New Pics)
When your friend walks out of the toilet with his leather pants hanging on his knees and his crotch covered in white powder and lotion, he can at least explain that he couldn't pull them back up his sweaty legs and used everything he found in the cupboards in the last futile attempt to do so.
But when you witness an animal end up in a confusing predicament, it usually raises more questions than provides answers. After all, they don't speak human and can't tell you what happened. At least, not to my knowledge. And there's an Instagram account that perfectly highlights this, let's call it, difference.
It's called 'Doggo Taxi' and it shares random and oftentimes nonsensical animal pictures without providing any context. A cat judging a crayon drawing of itself? Sure. A dog refusing to give up the swings for a kid? You bet. Ooh what awesome. I know dogs these days are used for their awesomeness for all kind of circumstances. Helping people with all kinds of disabilities. But I could have used this as a child. I didn't mind a doctor having to set anesthetic, him cutting barbed wire from my upper thigh and him stitching me up. I didn't mind didn't care and wanted to watch what he was doing. But oh boy the dentist I gave that man a hard time. I even threatened my dentist once when I was like 10y. He wanted to pull a tooth (which was already loose) without Anesthetics. I wasn't having that so I threatened him to hit him if he would proceed. Not my best plan but it worked. Oh I was in trouble that evening. My mom and dad both had to work that day so I went to the dentist alone. Oh btw they don't use Nitrous Oxide in the country were I live. Not the best plan my parents had, sending me to the dentist alone. Im 51 now and still dislike the dentist very much Such a dog as support would have made a big difference

Award-winning pet photographer Alexandra Robins, who is based in Wiltshire, United Kingdom, told Bored Panda that everything starts with your energy.
"Having your pet model looking their best, happy, and engaging with the camera really makes for a great photo. I always ask clients to make sure their pet is groomed and ready to shine in their photos. Giving them their favorite treats, playing with toys, and giving your pet affection will help keep them waggy-tailed and those ears pricked up," she said.

Robins said that being mindful of your background and planning where you will take your pet portraits will make a huge difference to your photos.
"Cluttered and overly busy backgrounds will distract the viewer from your pet and will likely ruin what could have been a really wonderful photo all around."

This is amazing. They live in a trailer and still make sure their kitty gets a patio (catio) so it can enjoy watching nature as all cats do. They clearly love and care for their kitty very much.

However, even if you do your homework and put in the effort, that doesn't mean that your pet won't decide to troll you when you're holding the camera. These animals certainly appear to be doing it on purpose. Which begs the question, are humans really the only species that find humor in life?
The tricky part is that philosophers and psychologists have long struggled to come up with an exact definition of what constitutes humor in the first place.
They've presented numerous theories over the years, one of the most popular being the "incongruity theory" of humor. At its basic level, this theory states that humor arises when there's an inconsistency between what one expects to happen and what actually happens — and this includes comedic tools like puns, irony, and twists of fate.
According to this definition, it sounds like the vast majority of animals probably don't have a sense of humor, as they lack the cognitive abilities that would allow them to identify such inconsistencies.

One of my favorite memories ever is coming home to my tuxedo cat sitting in the drawer the catnip was kept in. She’d torn the bag open, catnip was everywhere, her pupils were dilated wider than I’d ever seen, and her white chin was stained green. She sat there twitching for a moment, and then sprang out of the drawer and rocketed around the house. I think it was her best day ever!

A few psychologists recently came up with a new theory. They propose that humor arises from the so-called benign violation or "something that threatens a person’s well-being, identity or normative belief structure but that simultaneously seems okay," they wrote in a paper about the theory.
Benign violation can explain why a number of things make us laugh, including being tickled: that is, tickling benignly invades someone's physical space.
You can't tickle yourself because that doesn't constitute a violation and complete strangers can't tickle you to the point of laughter because you won't perceive it as a benign act.
Following this line of thinking, various animals do, in fact, have "humor," if only they can be tickled.

Research shows us that our primate relatives — chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas, and orangutans — all produce laughter-like sounds when tickled (as well as when they're wrestling and play-chasing).
This also suggests that humor and our ability to laugh likely came from humans' and great apes' last common ancestor.
Additionally, another study discovered that chimpanzees can make silent "laugh faces" just like humans.
Dogs are also known to have a kind of panting laugh and play face that's suggestive of humor.
So who knows, maybe these animals are actually laughing at us? Or at least with us?

I love them! Salamanders (and newts) are so cute! There is a species of salamander (I cannot recall the name, something with "red bellied" in it) that swims in a lake in the outskirts of my city and it is both cool and a little spooky to swim that close to a salamander. They have not come very close to me yet, but I have a feeling they would be much more afraid of me than I am of them.

Interesting if freaky critters. Had one materialize on the handlebars of my bicycle once, no idea where it came from as I was at a major road junction with no greenery or anything near, at a loss as to what to do, I cycled as far as the next hedge I knew of, where it happily hopped off.

Peacocks are so loud! My BFF had them on their farmette when we were growing up, and they'd fly up into the trees and scream at you for parking underneath them, and lemme tell ya - that'll wake you up much faster than any rooster!

I hope so. If a pitcher plant can kill insects with the "goop" that is in the pitcher, I can't imagine that it would be great for the kitty. I also can't imagine a scenario where a domestic cat would be in a jungle in the first place, let alone climbing in a sticky and probably stinky plant. Cats don't like sticky or stinky things.

HORRIBLE! This adorable little person needs to be safe in a REAL home not one that condones such behavior. Would they love to have the same thing happen to them? He or She is NOT a toy. Hope he survived this.

On the rebound this dog is probably going to get whiplash. = paralysis partial or full / extreme pain for the rest of it's life. THIS IS CRUELTY. There are probably laws against cruelty to animals in your country. If you see this rubbish, please report it to you local Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. -

Against the law where I live. Utterly irresponsible: Unsafe for doggos, unsafe for other people as they would try and avoid or have dog crash on hood.

As in the owner of these dogs should have dodged becoming an irresponsible dog owner and kept the dogs in the cab of the truck (not that 6 dogs would fit, even in a four-door truck) or in dog carriers in the truck bed? Yes! I will stop commenting on this entry now, as it is making me to upset. *Yes, I get the Doge pun*
