One of the greatest, most talented and unique artists at The Lift Studios in Asheville’s River Arts District, Daniel McClendon’s story of how he transitioned into different media and developed his process is an interesting one, made all the more remarkable by his dynamic animal paintings, which start from white and black patterns on canvases and emerge to be incredible works of art and imagination!
Here are 45 selected works highlighting wildlife from the continents of Africa and Australia, to highlight conservation efforts for protecting rare animal endangered species and saving their habitats with organizations like National Geographic, World Wildlife Fund, the Jane Goodall Institute, Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Humane Society Int’l and [Masai Mara] National Reserves, Safaris and Parks.
