Smart phones. Computers. Flat screen TV. The internet. Few people can live without them, and those that can are generally branded weird, anti-social, or subversive. "But how has the feline world responded to the emergence of the modern technological revolution?" I hear you cry! Well, with a great deal of confusion it seems.
The proof can be found in this revealing before and after series compiled by Bored Panda. As you can see from these pictures, cats have no idea what to believe anymore. Is a mouse an animal or a computer accessory? Is a ball of yarn actually a tangled bunch of cables? Is a radiator the same as a laptop adaptor? Are those birds on TV real? Modern technology might be useful to humans but it's turning cats into psychological wrecks. Just take a look below to see what we mean.

Sitting On Tv
Oww. I hope that cat had waited to eat, or the tv would be a bit icky... (picture 2)
Intruding Human Personal Space
Who knows why people stopped using kittens as bookmarks, beats me.
Getting Warm
Isn't a radiator pipe too hot? The one in my room gets too hot to touch :(
Um, it depends what your thermo is set to. Not all radiators are the same temp. And now, breathing. In... out...

In winter my cats always sleep on the floor, exactly in the middle of the hallway, above the radiator pipes that pass under the floor. Whenever it is a maze try not to crush them...
Hunting
that was a very special present, don't ya know?
Load More Replies...My cat still goes outside and hunts mice. She brings them into my room, fully alive, and then puts them down on the ground so she an chase them around and prey on them. I found a dead one in my laundry basket, and once found a dead one in the bottom of the washing machine after doing a load of laundry. It was "squeaky clean". Hah. you get it?
My cat thought he was bringing me a lovely gift by leaving a mouse at the foot of my bed!
Not true. Native wildlife is killed everyday from cats and for no reason and not for food. Keep your cat's inside
Once my cat killed a live mouse, and once it caught the roller ball out of my mouse that i use on my computer. Hah
Bird Watching
Anyone else's cat(s) do that little chirping sound when they see birds or bugs outside?
It's a reflex, it's them practicing a kill bite. They do it when they can't get to the prey
Load More Replies...My cat is always thrilled by nature programs showing birds or squirrels; she sits mesmerized in front of the TV, and occasionally goes have a peak behind the screen just in case...
My cat plays that bug smashing game on my phone. Will wear the battery from 100% to 12% in a few hours. She knows how to restart the games, but usually a single game lasts ten minutes.
Yes most of them do. Luckily they do it outside too, so the birds are warned.
I love the look on the cat's face like, "That's so nice we're finally watching what I want to watch." <3
Getting Tangled
Catception
A reference from the movie Inception, where they get in dreams, within other dreams, within other dreams...and so.

Yes, I downloaded two, but my cats showed absolutely no interest. All I got was pictures of my hand when I tried to show them how to play...
Load More Replies...The bug-smashing game is a fav for my cat. She has worn my phone battery down countless times. She can work the game, like restart it and even switch apps. A single match can last up to ten minutes.
I had to buy my cat her own IPad because every time I was on mine she would head but and bite me and " pull" the iPad down with her paws... She has about 10 apps... the fishing one a " bug chase one" 2 chase the mice and 2 fireworks ones ( you touch the screen and these bright coloured fireworks shoot out ) plus one that has mice...leaves,..laser and birds ( IN 3D) move randomly across the screen
Dating
Single hot feline, just one click away, enjoys long walks down alley ways, and smoked salmon. Considers herself to have a feisty personality.
God I wish this was real! I'd have this in a heartbeat, it's ... it's CAT social media! <3
Now that's hilarious, but I think cats are smarter than humans when it comes to staying away from dating sites on the internet.
This is the best one! That expression on her/his face is priceless. :D
Playing
technically im one of them but im not obsessed like everyone else
Load More Replies...I've woken up to find my cat playing with my samsung phone. she can break the passwrd. Her fav game is bug smasher
Running
That's an amazing idea for apartment cats if the apartment is big enough kitty hamster wheel I wonder if it'll be on the market one day
They are on the market. When they first came out they cost about 300.00 dollars.
Load More Replies...I just can't imagine any of my cats wanting to use one of those??!!
Housing
If I bought a fancy cat home for a cat my guess is the cat still will pick the box
Taking Photos With My Hooman
People it's becoming a pandemic LEAVE YOUR FACE ON YOUR OWN NECK it's no longer funny it never was funny and personally it's gotten old
Bird Watching
My mom's cats periodically check behind the TV when a nature program is on. Maybe someday the prey behind the glass will be found there?
Okay enough with the iPad and TV watching , the humor comparison got old after the first two
Playing
The claws... when to trim your cats nails.. about a week before this picture was taken
In civilazed countries it is illegal to declaw cats. The U.S.A. doesn't do much for the animals in general. If people can't put up with cat than don't get one and take a stuff toy instead. How selfish can one get. Spoiled little USA brats! brats!!!
I couldn't agree more!!!! I WANT IT TO BE ILLEGAL SO BADLY!!

The cat playing on the phone made my teacher laugh really loud during silent reading.
