Measuring up to 12 metres or more, these majestic giants of the deep have a mouth with a circumference of an impressive 1.5 metres – which can be pretty intimidating – but apparently they only eat plankton & krill, so you should be pretty safe.

After a day of swimming with the world’s largest fish, head to the main lodge of the safari camp and mingle with the other guests, while helping yourself to a chilled drink from the open bar. With any sort of luck you’ll get to experience one of the mind-blowing sunsets over the ocean that you definitely won’t forget in a hurry.
