“Yesterday” As It Was (7 Pics)

Hi. I am an artist from Ukraine.

This is a difficult period for research and creativity. My hands are trembling with the rumble of explosions, I draw to manifest “Life”. Now it is the most important word, uniting a lot of meanings, all reflections boil down to the possibility of existence in any conditions and how to fix this moment with creativity. If it is interesting, I will occasionally post news about my work.

Pictures which are on a photo below, from my “other life”. None of us (Ukrainians) suspected that everything around us could turn into chaos and fear.

Lately, I have been doing an art search while traveling, adding to my knowledge and experience. I consider art “a dialogue of space and time with humanity.

Can the square translate a word, a story, to mankind? Perhaps it is a song about the desert, about the blooming of a garden. What does the right bank of the river or the left bank speak of, or perhaps the artist who comes to meet himself…

I am fascinated by the process of drawing with the line as a visual language. Each time is a search for new content and sensations. During this time I have a dialogue with what is around me. Landscapes in the paintings are transformed by lines, then rhythmically leap in the imagination of the viewer and the picture turns into another image, perhaps in the sound, continuing its own dialogue.

Perhaps tomorrow the fact of the existence of my work will only be this text and these pictures of my paintings. Take care of yourself, take care of art – it is one of the few values that distinguish man from the beast of prey…
