Woman Saved A Wounded Kitten From The Streets And Gave Her A Loving Home
Interview With OwnerSometimes life is not fair and even the smallest and most innocent creatures get the worst luck. That’s exactly what happened to this little kitten who was found wandering around a backyard, wounded, sick, and infected. The kitten’s fur was falling out and she smelled horrible. That’s when an amazing person found her.
Nur Hamizah Had lives in Malaysia and adores animals. Recently she found a kitten in her backyard and decided to save her from certain death. Nur Hamizah Had treated her, took care of her, and gave the kitten, now named Meimei, all the love she needed. After 5 months, Meimei finally looked like herself.

Nur found Meimei in the backyard of her house, underneath her car. Nur said she looked really bad: infections, fungus, wounds, and many more issues. She was very dirty and stinky, also, and had all sorts of critters on her skin. Meimei’s leg was also wounded and she needed urgent care immediately.
Nur coaxed her into a box and brought the kitten inside the house

Nur said that Meimei looked at her like she was begging to be saved and taken care of. She looked sad, alone, abandoned, and lost. Nur also mentioned that Meimei wasn’t really scared of her, but more hopeful for being found. Meimei didn’t even need to be caught: she walked up to them, went into the box and that was that.
After taking the kitten, now named Meimei, to the vets, Nur found out everything she needed to know about the recovery process

It took 5 months for Meimei to recover into the beautiful cat she is today

After Nur took Meimei to the vet, they found out she only weighed 2 kg. Nur knew that she needed to fight for the kitten’s life and try her best. Nur said that if Meimei survived, it would be a sign for her to love and care for Meimei for the rest of her life.

Now, after about 1 year of living a life of care, love, and luxury, Meimei weighs about 6 kg and is one of the most beautiful and fluffiest cats ever. She grew back her snow-white fur and is living her best life. Her health is back to normal and all is well.

Nur said she is always up to saving and caring for animals in need. If she sees one on the streets, Nur is always there to help and save the animal. Nur says that you should always help out a stray in need and help them survive. Give a home to animals that have not felt love in ages.

So beautiful! Every animal deserves a loving home. Also, "Meimei" means "Little Sister" in Chinese - a wonderful, loving choice of name!
It was like a punch in my gut seeing that kitten. It's incomprehensible that it was alive. Nur, you are an angel who brought another angel back to Earth.
This makes me so happy! Similar story with my furrball. Was covered in mange, looked like she was rolled in sand. Shelter wanted to put her down but I fought for her happy spirit so they gave me free medical & food to foster her. 2 months later, she filled out, grew some fur & adopted me.. Now she's so soft, even my vet obsesses over petting her lol
Wow. I really love this kind of story. Thank you for caring.

I have had many kitties come to my front door begging for help. Many of them did not trust humans and I've found out that some of those kitties had humans trying to help but they wouldn't trust them. For whatever reason they always trust me. They look in to my eyes and are able to communicate how desperate they are. I've been able to pick up feral cats that have been pretty vicious simply because of a tacit agreement between each other that has allowed them to calm down, to relax and receive the help they need. It's pretty special being trusted like that. Especially when they previously didn't trust anyone else. I've kept all those kitties that have done that. Some I've had to foster and then get their forever home figured out but I've kept and loved and been loved in return by those who came to ask for help.
When we went to see our baby she was filthy, emaciated and had an absolutely gigantic umbilical hernia. Didn't matter, we loved her and brought her home and straight to the vets. These hernias are usually very small and can be fixed when they are spayed, but hers was the size on an apple where all her insides were spilling out and needed emergency surgery. 2 years later, she is big, beautiful, happy and healthy.
Happiness is what she did to save the cat happiness and love was her reward.
OMG, those darn ninjas are slicing onions again! So happy for Nur and Meimei, I hope they have many many many happy and loving years together.
Bless you for your love, I also would do the same, Meimei has a home with love, you saved her, not all people would have, many years of happiness, for you both !!!

Thank you Julie, reverence, respect for ALL living creatures means that human beings must change their lifestyles, not just for animals' sake but for their own sake.
Load More Replies...hmm, let's see, $2000 vet bill to fix the cat, or $70 bill to euthanize.... this should not be a hard decision... amazing love for animals on the part of the new owner... If I did this, the original owner would show up after the full recovery & demand her pet back without any compensation for the vet bills!
