The Office was first broadcast in 2001. In the UK, where it was created.
Thanks for adding that context. I was wondering that myself, good to know it doesn't change the answer for the quiz.
Load More Replies...It's funny how Americans think their stuff should be iconic for the rest of the world. Super Bowl or World series? MC Donald's or KFC? Who cares????? It's not "iconic".
Or the two donut shops. I don't even remember their names, but I guessed correctly anyway, lol
Load More Replies...Thomas Edison didn’t invent the light bulb. They were around since the 1830’s. He patented one that worked but he did not invent them.
I missed that it said "movies". The lotr books are decades older.
Load More Replies...The first Lord of the Rings movie was made in the 1970s, long before Harry Potter was even written.
True, but the rotoscope animation was weird when I watched that animation film as a kid.
Load More Replies...I question whether Dunkin Donuts vs Krispy Kreme is an iconic moment in time.
BP you showed an interesting question at the board as a clickbait, then the first question was "what came first Mc Donalds or KFC"? Wtf!? Just left right away on the spot. Shittification is hitting hard here...
A lot of these questions were BS. They were either USA orientated, or weighted heavily to pop music and silly cartoon shows, of which I have no knowledge. Why doesn't BP have a good general knowledge/history quiz which people from around the world could take ?
