Hubby works away. Lives in an air b& b owned by a "friend". Found out through a text and his confession, that he has been bad mouthing his family and especially me. Said he hated me, etc. Told them ALL our private info. Her other male tenant has been listening in on our private conversations. Telling him to divorce me etc. She told him to sell his old van, buy a car and a motorcycle. I thought we had a decent marriage. He has moved from there. I am at a loss. I have spoken to a counsellor. Married 43 years. He started this behaviour within 2 wks.

I would prepare myself mentally and financially for a divorce. Talk to someone you trust and get there take on it. If you are happy in your marriage maybe confront your husband. Or maybe see how he feels if you leave before he gets the chance, doesn't need to be a permanent separation but maybe just you leaving for a while will make him think about things in a new light.
