I have so many different things I call my 2 cats. Pretty girl, sweet girl, gross baby, demonic gargoyle, my goddess, hussy... and more. What do you call your pets besides their actual names?

My dog smooch unfortunately was put down but he nicknames were: Smoochypooch, smoochydouche, little miss thing, little miss priss, prima donna, her royal highness, crackhead, psychonaught, OCDog, spoodlenoodle, baby girl, baby puppy, sweetness, puppup and psycho. She was me in dog form. She was not to be disturbed before noon, she got super excited if she heard the mad m'elen theme and would sprint down the stairs, and launch herself onto the couch. She hated mud, wouldn't want to get her paws muddy (I would need to carry her onto muddy grass). She was obsessed with me, wherever I was she was right there. But she never had separation anxiety. She refused to be ignored so would unplug my laptop or shut it on my hands. She would bring me "offerings" like my own pen or a grapefruit from the kitchen-- whatever she thought would bring me joy. She would turn lights on when she'd enter rooms and turn them off when they were late. She would turn on the bathroom tap to get water and when i would do my hair in the morning she would put her paws on the vanity and insist that I do hers too. We both had epilepsy. We both loved candles. She always sat on chairs like people (bum down, legs forward, arms/paws on the armrests. She would even sit on chairs. She would pet our other dog while he laid at her feet (her older brother) and when he had a toy she liked she would raise her paw and slap him in the face (which I have never seen a dog do before). She was super kissy hence her name. Very cuddly. She actively watched tv and would sit on a chair to watch me play games. As for crackhead-- if someone went by her cage which was right outside my room, she would throw herself at the door and lose her mind at them. As far a she was concerned I was the only person allowed to move about that hallway and she needed to tell me if anyone else was trespassing leading my family to call her crackhead for all of the times she scared the s**t out of them and caused them to drop their things. She also was so excited when i'd get home that she would move her cage down a narrow hallway, to the stairs edge so she could see me as i entered. Would only do it when she knew it was me and each person who came to the house had a different howl so i always knew who was home before they entered. Easily one of the greatest rottweilers I will ever have and a pleasure to have had the privilege to know.

My cat (may she rest in peace) was named Blackie Sue. For some reason, for the last year or so of her life, my mom started calling her Polka Dot Shrimpy.

There is no reason when it comes to pet names for your pets. I've been calling my one cat 'Trumpet Muppet' for the past few days haha. Blackie Sue is a very cute name. And I'm sorry. May she rest in peace

Fainted goat? Is there a story behind that? 😁

My dog's name is Bucky. We call him Bucky Barnes, Buck, Sergeant Barnes, Mr. Barnes, Buckeroo, etc. Also affectionately "you goof" or "you dawg." I used to have a cat named Painter who was "officially" Painter the Goof. And then there was Puma the Poof. And Aryil, who got "fuzz-face" "Mrs. Patty-paws" "Kittypoo." We used to make fun of her because she walked like a lady in heels, which was the cutest thing ever.

My cat's government name is 'Fatso Franko' but I also call him 'Biggun' cause hes big. My brother has a big, old, brown and slow dog who I call 'Buffalo Butt', and Buffalo Butt has a stepbrother I call 'Ole Tappy' because hes always tapping his feets when he wants something.
