    Many words which I've never used - we have different names for them in the UK - the shirt is known as a "grandad shirt". The one that annoyed me was that the UK spelling for the vegetable slicer is "mandolin" without an e.

    US here and I've honestly never seen it spelled with the "e" but maybe I'm weird.

    Well I learned I know words but can't spell! Also, the surfboard one I only ever heard called fins and when I googled, it said skegs are for kayaks and canoes for stability.
