So when did 'self-care' stop meaning 'taking a bit of me time'? And how is 'chaotic in the name of wellness' not oxymoronic nonsense?
I thought "Making chocolate pudding at 4am" meant having a shít in the middle of the night but that wasn't one of the options.
If I can guess 20/25 at my age, what is youth slang coming to? It's supposed to be meaningless to people of my years. 🤣 (more like this, BP, go on)
Some of these are ancient! Sus and TL;DR are at least 20 years old. In fact, people were saying sus back when I was in high school, which makes it about 35 years old.
"Sus" meaning "suspicious" was a thing in the 1970s here in my part of the world.
Load More Replies...I've long wondered how much of Urban Dictionary is things that people actually say, and how much is just people trolling. I do recognize a few of these, but several of them I don't. Maybe it's just me being old, but do people actually say, for example, thinkle?
The best 'TL:DR' I've seen was on another site where I commented that a picture was obviously - and badly - photoshopped. Another commenter asked why I thought so because it looked real to him, so I listed about a dozen things that were clearly wrong with the photo. His response was "TL:DR.And you're wrong anyway."
I had to stop, they started getting ridicules, self-care??? Sus is not suspicious? Edit to add I am old so my comments are probably off.
I think you've confused "Susceptible" (one of the options) with "suspicious" - unless that was a mistake in an early version of this quiz which has since been corrected.
Load More Replies...15/25. Just about all of these I didn't know so just guessed. I thought I did decent. The only one I did know for certain was TL:DR.
