Ideas are nice but, not as nuanced. Socially awkward and sad are 2 different things. Sad could be pessimistic but, looking at the stats today, most sad people actually battle some sort of mental struggle, anxiety and depression to be the most common. While art is a good way to make a laugh and bring something like this on the table, I think it leaves me with a bitter after taste, not finding it funny as well. Loved the first one though.
