I Put Cloud Prints On Buildings To Brighten City Streets

I love street-art and the fact that one can discover art randomly out in the street. So after taking pictures OF the streets, I wanted to actually put the photos IN the streets and, this time, bring something uplifting to the people discovering the project. That’s how the { C/LOUD } project was born.
I decided to stick to this very simple concept, without other aesthetic or arty interference, to reinforce the universality of the message, and make it stronger despite its apparent simplicity. So I went to the countryside near Dijon in France famous for its amazing view and took loads of pictures of clouds. Then they were printed on paper or sticker and put on the walls for a temporary period.

That looks beautiful. But I worry about birds. They might bump into it thinking that it's sky. Then they will die. T_T

We start with a world full of fresh air and sunshine. We erect buildings with solid walls to keep out fresh air and sunshine. We put holes in the buildings to let in fresh air and sunshine. We cover the holes with glass and curtains to keep out fresh air and sunshine. We install fans and electric lights to simulate fresh air and sunshine. Then we hire painters to make pictures of fresh air and sunshine.

I actually felt better just looking at the photos of blue sky with fluffy clouds. I imagine seeing the murals is even more uplifting.
I'd love to have it the neighbors house so I can see it every time I look out on the window :3
