Teenagers Torture Dog By Breaking Legs And Setting Him On Fire, But He Survives And Still Loves People

First, it's animals, then they become adults and they move on to people. These people are dangerous. Zoosadism is a widely known precursor to serial killing and other sociopathic behaviors, and these people either need to get serious therapy or locked away for society's own good.

Oh my God, people are the worst. I hope these a*****e teens had to face consequences. In a perfect world this would be the same torture the poor dog had to go through.

With stories like this, it is hard to endure how much wrongdoing is in the world. Political beliefs nonewithstanding, empathy is crucial for getting along with each other. People who will feel no empathy with animals might "function" in society, but I believe that their contribution to it will be much lower than that of people who are empathic. I am still wondering what parents and the society as a whole can do to prevent those who do not feel for others from doing what feels bad for others. Alas, I have no answer.

Don't call them "youngsters" as if what they did was a kids at play. Call them abusers, perpetrators, etc.

I've read several articles in both scientific and popular publication, children and teenagers who like to bully the animals and plants, such as wounding and even killing them, most likely in the future they could be a psychopath / cold-blooded killer. This issue is trivial, but this proves that the attention to the issue of bullying that our children and teenagers do against animals / plants / even humans is still relatively low specially in my country. Although many NGOs / government commission / and those experienced speakers that continuously spoken about the topic should not buly children and teenagers physical / sexual / verbal, just the opposite side is almost no serious discussion in the national level to discuss the opposite effect, what if, again what if, instead of children and teenagers got bullied, they bully the animals / plants / other human first ??? Really what is wrong with people these days?! Hurting innocent little animals just because they have nothing else to do?? Where the hell are their parents/psychiatrists at this point?! No animal should ever have to go through something like this! EVER. I hope the poor thing can still somehow have a normal life even after this.. Really makes me wonder how some people can still say that we're the smartest species on Earth. It's things like this that make me wish I wasn't human.

Kids that are capable of doing this to an animal are the ones who grow up to do even more to people. They NEVER should be able to ever own an animal and as far as I am concerned should be locked up for their whole life, or put to death! They are never going to be a healthy part of society.

Don't need to see the video if the story is true. These kids weren't just having fun. Some or all are disturbed; some are controllers, some are followers; but all are devoid of decent values and respect for life. Where lies the blame?

The kids need to go through the same treatment they bestowed on their victim. The pup felt terrible pain. The only way those idiots will gain a point of view on their actions, is punishment.

my only hope is that the teens who have done this did not just get a slap on the wrist... being teens that is probably what happened... they should be made to work in a dog shelter every day - after school - and on weekends for at least 2 years.... no days off either... Let them clean the areas where they live, feed, walk, bathe, and help take care of all the animals in a shelter.... Let them be close to them and may be,,,,, just maybe they will learn to appreciate what dogs (and cats) are all about... just maybe they will fall in love with all of them... and learn that they have unconditional love for all humans....... and just maybe they will really learn that what they did is totally unacceptable ... become a mentor for all these wonderful animals.... go for it.... get creative with the punishment they are given !!!!

It's a phenomenon how emotionally detached young (and some older ones) people are in relation to animals. Sad to think that this is just a sign of things to come ☹️ Perhaps public shaming of the culprits might be a way of making an example of them! Just where has the compassion for fellow living beings gone ?

Man, this bums me out. How could they do this to an innocent dog? I saw the photo and he looks so much like my dog Boo, I almost cried. These teens deserve a severe punishment.

It's been proven that a human that tortures animals will, in all likelihood, molest, torture and/or murder a human being. These teens need to be put away from society. There is something missing in their makeup that will never be "fixed". They are a danger to any living creature. Don't like the idea of prison for them, well, let them live at Your House!

It's a proven fact that when you torture and murder animals you will eventually turn your aggressive behavior on to humans. I say lock these kids up and throw away the keys. People that do this kind of inhumane thing will NEVER be rehibulated ever.

No animal contact for five years ..is that what I heard as I sit here sobbing for this poor little dog and what have must been going through his mind during this torture. I am not sorry to say that the same treatment should be done to each of those teens "Eye for an Eye" they wouldn't of survived and obviously they DID NOT care if that pup survived. They should at least endure some pain

They were ordered to pay the costs and banned from keeping pets for 5 years!!!!! This is no punishment! Their parents covered the costs and if they want to totrure a pet again, they'll just find another stray. With those deliberate actions (that took a hefty amount of time and effort) showed pure PSYCHOPATHIC tendencies!!! In five years they will be targetting a homeless person with the same treatment. They need serious therapy and Internet-deprivation for a year. They can do all the learning they need to from books and print-outs.
