Sydney Sweeney’s Sculptural Top Called Work Of Art As She Stuns On Red Carpet With Grandmothers

Sydney Sweeney delivered a masterclass on how to turn the red carpet into the ultimate stage for fashion statements.

The actress stunned fans in a sculptural top from fashion powerhouse Balmain at the Los Angeles premiere of her new horror movie, Immaculate.

It wasn’t just any top; it was as much a sculpture as it was an item that could sit in a wardrobe. The bold yet intricate design featured 3D fabric flowers and a pair of white arms that delicately embraced her, culminating in what looked like a bouquet cradled in front of her chest. Sydney combined the elegant sans-bra look with a pair of wide-legged black pants.

Her new movie Immaculate features her as an American nun named Cecilia, who witnesses strange things after joining a convent in the Italian countryside.

“It’s madness. I go unhinged, which always is fun. But it’s also beautiful. I really wanted to make sure that it was a beautifully shot horror film because we were filming in such a beautiful location,” the Euphoria actress told Deadline last year after wrapping up the film’s shooting in Rome.

“Rome is stunning, so I wanted to do the locations justice,” she added at the time.

Sydney had flown her grandmothers to Italy for the film’s shooting and even had them play minor roles in Immaculate.

“I flew my grandmas out [to Italy],” she said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week.

Sydney Sweeney’s look at the premiere was called “stunning” and “artistic” by fans

“They’d never been to Europe. My Grandy’s dream was to go to Italy—she’s never left the country before,” she continued. “They were, like, little old nuns in there.”

The Anyone But You actress was also accompanied by her grandmothers during the Los Angeles premiere of the movie on Friday.

Sydney Sweeney stars as a nun in the movie Immaculate, which is slated to release on March 22, 2024

Quite a coup! Something actually DIFFERENT in "Fashion"! Not only different but attractive and interesting! I do have to wonder about resilience, durability, and cleaning, though. :-) What happens to it now? Could make a tv series about that!
