If You Could Photograph Your Dreams, It Would Look Something Like This Turkish Artist’s Images
Istanbul-based digital artist Hüseyin Şahin doesn't just blend photos together; He blends reality and fantasy worlds to create spectacularly surreal scenes.
Though his craft of layering multiple photos is practiced by many, his unique take on fantasy photo manipulation pushes the limits of human imagination, and results in beautiful landscapes that look like your wildest dreams - or your most intense nightmares, depending on how you would feel about crossing a wobbly bridge between two hot air balloons mid-flight.
Şahin goes by the handle art.side on Instagram, and has so far amassed almost 55 thousand followers of his creative ideas. Some of his amazing photos incorporate elements of folklore, such as a photo of the Maiden's Tower in Istanbul featuring an underwater woman nearby, a reference to the ancient Greek legend of Hero and Leander, two young lovers who drowned in the Bosporus. While another unique artwork portrays a child in war-torn Syria.

Ahhh! Woooh! What's happening? Who am I? Why am I here? What's my purpose in life? What do I mean by who am I? Okay okay, calm down calm down get a grip now. Ooh, this is an interesting sensation. What is it? Its a sort of tingling in my... well I suppose I better start finding names for things. Lets call it a... tail! Yeah! Tail! And hey, what's this roaring sound, whooshing past what I'm suddenly gonna call my head? Wind! Is that a good name? It'll do. Yeah, this is really exciting. I'm dizzy with anticipation! So this is how the whales will pass away from the Earth. The oceans will dry up and the whales will leap from the dried sands of the ocean beds and dissolve into sand on the winds themselves.

my dreams are so boring, nothing like these. None of them has a person going to the toilet many times and still needing to pee.

Like a childs boggy collage made from stock images . . . pretty shabby work to be honest
It requires technically skill, an understanding of composition, visual balance, and all the basic principles of art... so yes it is art!
