I'd say both are terrible. Commenting on one's look is always bad, alright. But shaming other people because they're more "mainstream" or less "quirky" than you is as bad, if not worse. There's nothing wrong with enjoying popular things and prefering neutral/basic style. Also, comments like "why can't you be interesting" are causing people to be ashamed of their hobbies and preferences. Enjoy popular literature. Dye your hair blonde without shame. Be yourself, you're great!

I personally hate this message as a wheelchair user. I am empowered by my wheelchair. It gives me freedom. It does not restrict me. If the content creator is Disabled I fully support their right to have a different relationship/opinion of/with their wheelchair, but I generally do not find this helpful. I do not want pity for or liberation from my wheelchair/disability. It is a huge part of who I am today.
Agree. I'm a non-obligate power chair user - I have fatigue and joint pain (EDS), levels of which both fluctuate day-to-day. My chair allows me to get out and about on bad days when otherwise I'd be housebound, and enables me to make longer trips, making a huge number of things an option for me that were impossible before.

Hey my fellow pandas...quick question..I've been a reader of BP for quite some time and started with the app, about 2 years ago now I started reading BP via the website because I noticed threads would have way more entries in the morning vs. Later that same afternoon while using the app but the website gave you the entire thread no matter what time of day it was. Now I've noticed that the BP site is now doing the same thing, (start a thread with 100 entries and Later it gets cut to 50 or 30? Why does this happen and can it be fixed? Anyone else notice this too??
