For Honesty, this quiz should be titled "SEE IF YOU CAN GUESS WHAT CRITERIA WE PULLED OUT OF OUR @$$ TO SEPARATE ONE OF THESE THINGS FROM THE REST!"
Sigh. Big Ben is not a tower either, it's the bell in the Elizabeth Tower. It's also the only one that's not on continental Europe, so it's the odd one out on two counts. Tropical equatorial countries have rainy and dry seasons, not the other 4. Australia doesn't have countries, only one country - the continent is Australasia.
And in the bit coin question, only one of the designates had one line. If you're going to design a quiz, you must make only one answer the only answer.
Load More Replies...Some of these had alternate answers. I picked "shark" because it doesn't breath air.
Yes, some I got right but not for the reasons they gave.
Load More Replies...#13. WRONG. "Big Ben" is NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT (have I made my point, Raquel?) the tower. It's the bell inside the tower. Also, #6. "up" is definitely a key if you include the "up arrow" key. "Shift" is the more correct answer because the other three all have an action by themselves; shift only works when pressed in conjunction with some other key.
I quit because I came up with an alternate answer for most of them: India, Brazil, and Spain all speak an Indo-European language; dollar, euro, and Bitcoin symbols are all bisected by two lines; a watch is the only one that is powered by a mechanical mechanism; and X is the only one with no vowels. Frustrating.
Japan is an island the others aren't, My keyboard has an UP key, Canada's flag has a leaf. anyways, several answers to some of these.
6. Up or Up Arrow is a key. Shift is the odd one out as it is normaly only used in conjunction with another key to access the shifted character. 12. Nepal also had blue on the flag, the others are just red and white. 13. Big Ben is a bell not a building!!! 21. The others also have wheels. 25. WTF is Rummikub? I'm having 2 points back after that!!!
Another ill-designed quiz. Bp, it is not enough to have a correct answer, you must also eliminate any of the ways there can be to have more than one correct answer. Most teachers get this in school. STOP DESIGNING BAD QUIZZES.
Seriously? Question 1 Japan, India Brazil Portugal The obvious answer is Japan is the only island! What absolute MORON would decide FLAGS would be the criteria? Does BP have anyone with a brain on their entire staff?
India beging and ends with a vowel, the others begin and end with consonants.
Load More Replies...But the leaning tower of Pisa is the only one NOT in a capital city....
Some of these were way too specifuc with no context clues. I chose “snake” bc it was the only land-based animal. But turns out it was that blue whale was a mammal. It can’t be that vague.
Question 6: You see that key with the arrow pointing up? Yeah, that's the UP key!
I think Raquel Teixeira oughta stay in Portugal. She's is wrong on #1. Japan is the old one out! It's completely surrounded by water. Not so the other three. #3 sundial is odd because it doesn't use electricity; all the rest do. #12 Canada is the the odd one; it is in the new world, all the others are in Eurasia. #13. Big Ben is a clock, you dork! all the rest are buildings. #19. Snakes don't have any kind of limbs or fins, all the others do; and what the H does egg-laying have to do with mammals? THIS WAS BY FAR THE STUPIDEST QUIZ I'VE EVER SEEN IN BORED PANDA. "ODD ONE OUT" QUESTIONS LIKE THIS ARE OFTEN FOUND IN INTELLIGENCE TESTS. THE AUTHOR SHOULD PASS AN IQ TEST BEFORE TRYING TO CREATE ONE OF HER OWN.
1. Spain, Japan, and India ill have five letters. Brazil has six. 18. Europe starts with E, all the rest start with A.
First one I chose Japan because all the others have the letter i in.
Load More Replies...So many of these have other answers that equally correct for different reasons.
#22. Alternate answer: the (typical) rose has thorns. The others do not.
Well this was mind-bending. So many of the questions had multiple possible answers that it was a case of deciding which option was the most likely *and* had a link - however tenuous - to the picture clues. For example, the first thing that occurred to me for #1 was that India was the only option beginning and ending with a vowel, but that didn't match the picture clue, so then it was trying to find links involving something circular. I'm very surprised I only got two wrong.
Why did they bother with pictures above the questions? I strained for minutes on No.1, then just guessed. Nothing to do with the pic!
Big Ben is neither a tower nor a clock, it's the bell that chimes the hour.
