They do this in the country I live in and it's shocking to see how many people are collecting the cans and it's not just the homeless because so many people over here are living beneath the poverty line now

We have similar bottle and can shelves on bins for over 20yrs

Giving people down on their luck some dignity, it's just the right thing to do.

this used to be such a nice idea until fentanyl @ $1 a hit came along.

In my area we have an incredible public playground that is designed for kids of any ability. There are many items like this. The idea is for ALL children to be able to play together. I was blown away the first time we went there.

We have a park here that was built to be all-accessible, in honor of an amazing kid who passed away, named Noah. Noah's playground has these, and it was amazing to see the first time a child in a wheelchair used it! No dry eyes anywhere.

In horse shows, if your pony/horse is prone to kick, you put a red ribbon on the tail. Imagine having these in the ring!

These have been around in my state at least for the past 30 years. However they have been improved upon in design significantly. Currently our neighborhood park offer these style of wheel chair swings, modified swings that allow an adult to piggy back with their child, a sensory area with musical instruments, and even a giant board that lists simple phrases in braille, pictures in sign languages (yes, please, play, thank you, etc) that our kids can use to communicate with others on the playground.

Why is not done more often instead putting it on agricultural land? I saw somewhere they covered sound barriers next to motorways with panels. Perfect location.

Two of my local supermarkets has this, as well as their flat roofs covered is solar panels, they make enough ower to cover most of their use, and in summer ones car won't be like an oven after shopping.

Disneyland Paris had their complete parking lot shaded with solar panels. It is huge, but cannot meet their energy needs.
