Those are called WILD dogs...not domestic pets.

Those are called wolves, or possibly coyotes. Regular dogs who are domesticated or otherwise homeless dogs belong inside (no matter how big or small they are). You call them family members, would you treat a human family member the way you would treat a dog? Do NOT get a dog and then chain it up outside, that is called animal cruelty and in many cases neglect.

There is a video clip on YouTube floating around that i watched some years ago..... unfortunately in some cases they DO skin alive! The clip showed this guy knocking the animals on the back of the head and then starting skinning them....He then threw them in a pile to the side of him..... many were merely unconscious, and woke up squirming on the pile where they died shortly afterwards. I remember watching the clip...almost throwing up... and thinking to myself how i would love the skin the sick SOB who did that.

still you can easily find videos and gifs of animals without skin - alive and conscious. see yourself: 200.gif What certainly indicates that that practice exists, although i.d believe its not widespread in Western countries.

And there are people out there who would shoot a person to save the fox. Extremism is bad, no matter what the topic is.

And i am not even a huge animal lover. I am not even a vegan. Just try to imagine the amount of pain of a animal who is skinned alive. And amount of pain from quick death from being shot. Its not an extremism, it is a simple mercy. Its normal for any normal human. I don't mind eating meat or wearing fur when its really necessary for survival, in cold regions. But humans should have mercy and respect and end lives of these animals quickly and painlessly. Otherwise they are just sick sadists.

No they don't. If an animal is skined alive the fur is ruined. It has to be completely cold to ensure the best quality of the fur. I did my masters on animal rights and the fur industry. You can dislike fur, but please get your facts straight (even PeTA says it's not a technique commonly used)

I'm in the fur bussines, and no it's in no way practical to skin the animal alive. An example would be mink, kill them without pain in carbonmonoxide, then skin the limb body. The fur is some times washed, but most farmers don't, that's for the buyers and the fur does not loose any shine or nothing because they are dead when skinned, why would you think that?

You're delusional. Google "Yulin Dog Festival" and then tell me they don't skin animals alive.

Milos Gajic. I saw a bit of a video showing these animals being skinned alive. It was too hard to watch I couldn't even watch a portion of it. It's absolutely horrible and awful.

They are sadly very often skinned alive, look up some peta-videos
