Actors Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively are keeping their fans entertained during the quarantine. The (in)famous couple roasted each other again—this time, over the haircut that Blake gave Ryan when he said that his hair was getting too long.

Blake roasted her husband by posting a photo of him with a quarantine ponytail and joked about how people will never, ever forget this.

But Ryan’s, well, Ryan. So he couldn’t keep quiet and roasted his wife back, saying how her birth control clearly doesn’t work. Ryan had in mind that he and Blake have 3 daughters together: James (5), Inez (3), and their 8-month-old baby whose name is still a secret. Bored Panda spoke about Ryan and Blake roasting each other with entertainment, pop culture, and lifestyle expert Mike Sington who’s known as the ultimate Hollywood insider. Scroll down for our interview with him.

But Ryan couldn’t stay silent and roasted Blake back by joking about her birth control. The couple has 3 daughters together

According to Mike, Ryan and Blake’s jokes might be “somewhat” planned out. “When you’re that popular and have that large of following, it would be too easy to have your humorous asides as a couple on social media backfire. It’s smart to put some thought into it, possibly even with the assistance of writers.”

He added: “They’re doing it in the correct way because it’s always effective and something to look forward to.”

Mike believes that Ryan and Blake are appealing because they’re not over-exposed. “Obviously an attractive couple, they control what you see, mainly on social media. Interviews are rare, and it’s even rarer to see them out together.”

That’s why the interest in their social media activity has grown and it increases the importance of what they post when they post it. “I’m sure they know that, which is why so much thought is put into it. Other celebrity couples would be wise to follow their lead!”

Celeb expert Mike said that the ponytail was definitely done as a joke and it’s not indicative of any future hairstyle trends. “I mean, it was a tiny, barely-even-there ponytail. It was the perfect thing for Blake to poke fun at, playing off Ryan’s always impeccably groomed style. If we’re lucky, we’ll survive the pandemic and men with ponytails!”

Ryan also spoke with Colbert about how he’s living with his mother in law during the quarantine

Ryan and Blake look like they’re making the most of the quarantine and spending some quality family time together (along with Blake’s mom, Ryan’s mother in law).

In an interview with The Late Show’s host Stephen Colbert, Ryan said that he doesn’t miss “masculine company” and joked that “most men tend to just be the architects of someone’s demise.”

The actor revealed that he’s doing whatever his daughters want to do which includes making and then wearing tissue paper dresses.

The haircut quips weren’t the first quarantine roasts that we’ve seen from the celeb duo. Earlier, Blake had joked that Ryan “emotionally distancing” from his mother in law wasn’t a thing and that “nothing can save him.”

Ryan and Blake donated 1 million dollars to help out people who are struggling. Blake also had a message for her husband about his mother in law

But the two actors are doing much more than just monkeying around during the coronavirus pandemic. They’re doing their part to help in the fight against the virus, too. Last month, they donated 1 million dollars to Feeding America and Food Banks America.

Blake encouraged her fans to help people as best as they can: “Remember the lonely and isolated. FaceTime, Skype, make a video. Remember the love that can travel through all this. Communities are stepping up—shopping for the elderly, making lunches for children. We can all do something for one another, even if that’s simply staying home.”

Ryan and Blake’s roasts go way back. For her last birthday, he congratulated her with bad pics of her
