What does a tall person do when they see an airplane? Duck, or “how's the weather up there” are classics for a reason, although one must also applaud the gumption to mock a person who is literally larger than you to their face. But as it turns out, the world sometimes really isn’t designed for those who have the privilege of seeing a bit further.
So we’ve gathered some of the most hilarious pictures that really showcase “tall people problems" for your viewing enjoyment. Settle in as you scroll through, upvote your favorites and, if any of these seem relatable to you, be sure to share your own thoughts and stories in the comments down below.

The Problem With Mini’s On Tall Girls Is That They’re Barely Longer Than Blouses
I feel this one. If you're tall, tops always have too-short sleeves and don't actually reach your jeans/look like crop tops, short dresses are borderline indecent, long dresses fall around mid shin and just look weird, and try to find long length womens trousers/jeans/joggers... "Oh yes, we have long length!" Then they show you some with a 30" inseam... Um, no, that's not long. I need 34" minimum. I've the last few years all stores in the UK have moved their tall range to online only (still have plus and petite in-store so why not tall?), so you can't just go buy things. Oh, and the stores that still have long length/tall womens clothing are usually way more expensive. Been struggling to find tall clothing since I was in my teens and it's very annoying!

It all started in a supermarket in Greece where he was oblivious. In fact, I don't think he realized I was taking a picture.
And really progressed in Romania. Here's our hotel room in Bucharest - it dawned on him that fitting in might be an issue.

Dc Condos Really Pretend That This Is Ok (5'7" Man For Scale)
I'm not even as tall as many of these people, I'm 5"11' but it is frustrating not having enough leg room in seats on buses or planes, not being able to find clothing that's long enough in the leg, or thats too short on the sleeves or body (seriously, retailers, people over 5"6' need clothes too!). On the plus side, I can reach things on high shelves, stand comfortably in the deep end of the pool, look more intimidating when walking home alone at night so get left alone... Even if it does mean I ended up getting things from the top shelf in the supermarket for someone smaller at least once each time I go.
Two major problems for tall people not mentioned above. One. Traffic lights hidden by the top of the windscreen frame. Two. Hanging out washing without getting garotted.
David Paterson: the second problem is easily solved by mounting the washing line high enough. My other half is short but it mostly works out because there's a big of sag in things and, er, when she gets really fed up with it I do all the 'washing on the line' stuff. 😬 (arguably, I should be doing all of it anyway, given how I put the thing up too high for her comfort).
