Quang Phạm is a 40-year-old tattoo artist from Vietnam. When asked why he does these types of tattoos, here's what he said: "Tattoos tell a story. They represent moments in your life. They can rekindle memories, grant loved ones eternal life, or simply make you smile whenever you look at them. When people come in to get a tattoo of their loved one it always makes me smile. Maybe that's why I'm so dedicated to my job."
Not only does this guy capture the actual image. But he accentuates the life like qualities of the photo to make it look even better!
When it comes to choosing his profession, perhaps the artist always knew what he wanted to do, given how his childhood turned out. "I've liked tattoos... ever since I was a child. The history of them is very interesting and fascinating to me. Why you might think? Well think about it, they date back pretty much as far as humans do, isn't that in itself pretty amazing?"
Weird artistic decision on the placement of her nipple but other than that, this is pretty much perfect.
Before the artist even started working on his craft, he was always fascinated by seeing tattoos on other people too.
"I find tattoos to be simply beautiful. I enjoyed seeing costly tattoos that were intricate works of art on people and stick and poke designs that people themselves created when they were teenagers. Even faded and jumbled tattoos on older people are cool to me because they tell a little bit of a story, and if you question them about the tattoo, they generally have an interesting story to go along with it. Stuff like that is what caught my attention..."
Once again, love the background of the tattoo! The blue looks like paint strokes!
Taking all of that into consideration, perhaps in some cases, especially for the clients of Quang, the best way to express the everlasting nature of love is with a tattoo that honors their loved ones. However, with that being said, before getting tattooed, please make sure you are ready to have something permanent on your skin. Unless you have complete faith in an artist's artistic ability, consider twice before getting a tattoo from them; even then, proceed with caution.
Those super fine details with the "stray" hairs are amazing. Most artists wouldn't or couldn't take that step.
@kcanded, here’s a video of his process. He’s actually just that good! https://www.instagram.com/p/CfeUXNUpeMx/
Aww you can see the joy in this little guys face! The artist is T👏A👏L👏E👏N👏T👏E👏D
Very talented artist!! That right eye is looking to see what the left eye is doing, though
I'm going to get a picture of a good-looking guy and have him tattoo it on my face.
I can't imagine how "that magic hour" could be more uncomfortable, like your kid opening the door at the wrong time... but his work is awesome...
Exactly my thinking. I told my husband I could never look at him *that way* again if he had our kids on his chest.
Load More Replies...What is the obsession with putting a picture of a child over your boob??? There are plenty of other body parts.... arm, back, shoulder, leg.... but no, let's put the picture on my nipple.
I think it's because it's right over the heart. Not my personal choice-and I have lots of tattoos, so deff not a judgment thing. To each their own.
Load More Replies...The tatoos are amazing but I still wonder why would anyone want to wear them. Is it like being a life Facebook wall? Yeah, so you have a kid, so do 70% of the people on this planet. And yet another thing- how will the kids feel about it when they grow?
Yeah, but to me, my kids are more special than any other kids on this planet. Just like my tattoos are important to me and not to you. I wouldn't want my kid's face tattooed on me

Load More Replies...i have a question. i know tattoos fade, color ones much quicker, and details expand. how will this look in a few years? (not trying to be negative, just actually curious)
I can say from personal experience that yes, they do fade a bit over time, and lines become a bit blurred as well. But in my case even my oldest tattoo (26 years or so) still looks good. It depends on placement, and also how clean the lines are to start with as well. 😁

When getting a memorial tattoo of a loved one that passes away, you get it on your chest… by your heart…
Load More Replies...Everyone is commenting about placement, but there is still a HUGE stigma about tattoos in Asian countries. All these tattoos can be easily covered and still wear normal shirts.
Amazing art work but so creepy having people tattooed on you. Sex must be weird.

Load More Replies...Amazing work, crazy placement with most of these though. I didn't think portrait nipples where so in style.

Load More Replies...I'm going to be unpopular - but all the really photographic ones look fake, mainly because any good tattoo artist wouldn't make them all the same size, and wouldn't have the nipple impacting the image - they'd move it up or adjust the size.
I may be unpopular, too, but I agree with you. My thing was, usually when you see a pic of a tattoo, you can see the contours of the person's skin, underneath. Especially with a new tattoo, because the person's skin is angry and irritated. But here, there's NONE of that. No pores, no swelling, no raised lines. And almost no redness. In any of the pics. They're all as smooth as the pictures themselves. Even if they're already healed, one should be able to see some hair, or SOMETHING. But there's nothing there. I'm not saying these are definitely fake. But if they're real, this guy is definitely retouching or maybe filtering the pics of the tats. And that, to me, makes them LESS realistic.

Load More Replies...Not sure how some of these made the list. Half of them looked completely different from the reference picture and the shading on some was more spooky than good. Yeah, they’re hyper realistic, but that doesn’t really mean much when they look nothing like the person they’re supposed to be
In some countries it's not a welcoming thing to have visible tattoos. That's why so many are on the chest.
