My family is more conservative, and we hate guns and want to repeal the second amendment. Not all gun haters are democrats, and not all gun supporters are Republican. Be careful with generalizations.

I have to agree with all that you said. I have ALWAYS had trouble wrapping my head around the idea that the right to have all the guns you want to is of higher value than the right we have and our children have to life. These rethugljcans...and others incuding Democrats...who take money from the NRA and vote agains common-sense gun laws, are so despicable and disgusting it makes me vomit.

It's not laziness, it's money. It makes it worse. These people have the money to easily survive a short term reduction in profits from switching out to environmentally friendly stuff, and they can easily employ people who know how to switch easily, yet they choose not to because they're scared of a little tiny drop in profits.
