Photographer Creates Modern Day Images Inspired By Gustav Klimt Paintings
Daniela Majic is a photographer whose on going series entitled The Secret Garden has her hand building her own sets in her tiny attic. Majic’s latest installment for the series are images entitled The Sun Queen which are reinterpretations of the paintings “Gold Tears” and “Portrait Of Adele Bloch Bauer” by Gustav Klimt. Model Hillary is seen surrounded by yellow hues of gorgeous flowers wearing a collar that Majic made by hand. Make-up artist Jilly Ijoe paints gold tears down the models face. On Majic’s blog she mentions that she creates the series in order to show others that they don’t need a big space or big budget to create beautiful works of art. Majic’s tiny attic is where all the magic happens.
