We all have weird quirks that are fairly uncommon, to say the least. For the fear of being judged, we keep these weird things to ourselves; however, that doesn't stop us from being curious about what others have to hide.

So, to indulge in this secret knowledge, X (formerly Twitter) user @drakesbrother started a thread asking people to share their bad habits, weird confessions, and interesting things they do. The thread was quickly flooded with the strangest habits.

Turns out, lots of us have funny habits that make perfect sense to us but might seem odd to others. Something like when someone has to read the last page of a book before they can start it from the beginning. One thing’s clear: what seems like quirky habits to some of us is just another day in the office for others.

Some confessed to measuring how long something will take in songs, others said that each time they get in their car, they make sure no one is sitting in the back seat. While some of these weird things to do sound a little bit odd, let’s not pretend you don't relate.

Scroll below for the list of confessions from regularly weird people, and don't forget to share your own strange habits in the comments.

This is incredibly common. Everyone does this, actually. Intrusive thoughts. I tend to think “how much can I key this car”.

Cupboard doors need to be closed when not in use. It's not that I won't necessarily be able to sleep, it's just why would they be open?

My sisters and I used to try holding our breath over bridges when were little. I think we thought it'd make us float if we fell in the water

My sister and I hold our breath past cemeteries, I think it started when I was little and didn't want to rub it in the face of the dead people that I'm still breathing and they're not 😂

Hahaha!!! I have to speed under a bridge for fear it will crash down on me. I don’t sit under it but will keep 5-6 car distant until I can go through and on a few occasions I was in idle under a bridge waiting for the car ahead to move and almost had an anxiety attack!!

That's just sensible planning. I do the same thing in tunnels. The Lincoln tunnel freaks me out. I just keep thinking about the millions of pounds of water that's over me.

I get a running start before going over train tracks, just in case my car dies on the tracks, like the lady cop teaching the driving class said might happen.

Same...also, where I live I tend to get stuck at a red light, and if there are more than approx 4 cars in front of me, I get stuck on that bridge and I can feel it swaying a little bit. It's really scary.

SAME with going under overpasses on the freeway or through tunnels ... I go as fast as I can ... and if it is stop-and-go traffic, and I get stuck under the overpass -- I sweat like Niagara Falls. Now I have learned to creep forward and wait for just enough room to make it thru before I have to stop on the other side. Yeah, sometimes the idiot in the lane next to me zooms over and takes up the empty space, but usually people are not paying attention and I can breathe again once I get out from under!

If I have to stop on a bridge (due to traffic or stop light) I MUST stop where there isn't a seam. I envision collapse and want to be on a flat part.

There is a bridge that we have to cross (or go the long way) to get to Ports O'Call in California. I have been afraid of this bridge since i was little and my mom used to take us. I have only crossed it twice as an adult and crossed it as fast as i could without being reckless.

I ALWAYS roll my window down and take my seat belt off too. If the car goes down, I have to be able to escape.

if the bridge were to fall while you were on don't open the window, take the head rest off the seat and put the metal bars into the little space between the window and the door and push it up, because if the window was rolled down the car would fill with water quicker

Yeah, sure. Increase the risk of a mechanical failure or a human error by going faster. Not to mention weather conditions like ice/ snow. Great logic.
