Context is a crutch. Most of the time, knowing the backstory, the source, the original post, and the thread that preceded it adds something to a meme. But on the rare occasion, context would actively ruin it. In the space between what you are looking at and any reasonable explanation for its existence, the joke comes alive.
The @isitworthitmemes page has built an audience on exactly this premise: memes so completely unmoored from any traceable origin that adding an explanation would be the comedic equivalent of describing a punchline before delivering it. You won't find a "this started because someone posted a photo of their uncle's garage in 2019" preface. Leave your context at the door, please; we are about to get random and rowdy.

So much light pollution but also, cute puma/cougar/mountain lion.
The gremlin who steals socks & hides them leaving you wondering where the hell they are.
Brewer, when sitting in my lap at the bar, will do this to strangers. He likes to remind people that he is there and is, in fact, not being scratched.
For no real discernible reason, I used to do this to try to catch birds. I've never had anything against birds. My parents were concerned that I was on my way to becoming a serial killer.
I'll go with the Dinner. Gerbert looks like a great conversationalist with many fascinating stories.
That lettuce is nutritionally empty. Hopefully you feed it some real food.
Even animals acknowledge that trans people are valid and that trans women are women, but a lot of humans don't. Who's the "most intelligent species" again?
Come to Annandale, VA. If a store owner turns their back for five minutes, their place gets converted into a Korean BBQ.
I feed a squirrel every day & then catch the little s**t in my recycle container as if he's still hungry.
For a few years, my mother worked in a small research lab. They had a few lab rats. Sometimes she'd bring them home on the weekend to care for them. If the rat was not dissected (unusual to do so for this lab), when they 'retired', she would bring them home for the rest of their lives. I built a large cage for her collection of rats. She'd often have one on her shoulder while watching TV.
My grandfather often washed the goat he kept for milk during the depression. He used Cashmere Bouquet. He was a man who believed in cleanliness.
