Can You Figure Out The Mystery Behind The Optical Illusion Dog?

I first thought it was one of those pics of abused, mutilated animals you every now and then see on facebook... Kind of recognized it as a dog, but couldn't quite figure out what's what.

A very sick looking Dog. The nose looks like the right eye and the eye that's at the bottom looks like a nose. The ear at the bottom looks like a tongue.

We are looking straight at the face, not turned to the side, so first circle is the nose, below that is a crooked jaw with the dogs mouth open and a dry tongue hanging out. We see the two eyes only the eye on the right looks like an old dried out tree stump, so its like his eye was shot out, but the explosion went backwards so the eye socket is coming towards us. The ear on the left is drooping kind of normally, but there is no right ear, its been surgically removed.

My dog tilts her head all the time so it was nothing weird for me, but I guess people who don't have dogs or have dogs that never do this took some time to realize what it could be.

At first glance the nose looked like an eyeball to me, making the (if you see it properly) TOP eye level with the "nose" eye. The lower eye becomes a nose, and the ear and side of head become a mouth and tongue. dog-5a1fa2...3518ad.jpg

Same it's just a sideways dog why are so many people freaking out
