Stepping out from the shadows of her famous parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest child, North West, discussed her upcoming debut album in what is believed to be her first-ever on-camera interview.

The 10-year-old was interviewed by a fellow youngster — 13-year-old Jazlyn ‘Jazzy’ Guerra for Jazzys World TV at the 2024 Rolling Loud festival in Inglewood, California.

As North follows in the footsteps of her father, she teased her upcoming album, Elementary School Dropout, during the interview with Jazzy.

“It’s going to be great,” North said about the album.

“When’s it gonna drop?” Jazzy asked the Kimye child.

“Like… I don’t know,” North replied.

When asked about whether fans can expect a collaboration track with Ye, North shyly said, “Mmmm, maybe! We don’t know yet!”

Jazzy then thanked the fifth grader for her time and subtly hinted at North’s scant disclosure of details.

She told North she “liked the mysterious vibe [she had] going on there.”

The conversation between the two youngsters sparked a flood of comments calling North a mini-Ye.

“That’s baby ye,” said one comment, while another said, “She has all the Kanye mannerisms.”

“Ye made a legit clone,” said a third comment.

“She got her Daddy’s blank stare,” said another.

Some felt the 10-year-old needed to have her interview skills polished.

“North gotta get some media training lol,” one said.

Another said, “Aawww she’s actually shy Omg ❤”

“Love Jazzy’s energy! Love how North West is just like Ye in an interview. this video is amazing lol,” read another comment on the interview.

During the Rolling Loud festival, North performed the song Talking / Once Again alongside her father from the Heartless rapper’s Vultures 1 album that dropped in February.

She was joined by her friends, including her cousin Penelope Disick, for the performance.

Kim was also at the event supporting her daughter backstage and is believed to be the one who orchestrated North’s first on-camera interview with Jazzys World TV.

Kanye’s mini-me hinted at the upcoming album Elementary School Dropout during a listening event earlier this month for her father’s next album, Vultures 2.

“I’ve been working on an album…” the child told the crowd. “[It] is called Elementary School Dropout.”

The title of the album pays homage to her father’s album, The College Dropout.
