Colombian artist Camilo Matiz created a series of light sculptures which confront the viewers with the duality of who they are and how they perceive themselves.
This satirical study of reflection takes bright neon signs and finds their honest hidden messages. "Take a Selfie" becomes "Fake a Life", or "Believe You Can" turns into "Lie To Yourself Anyway". Matiz highlights that peoples' lives often reflect their unrealized desires of the heart, mind, and soul even if they try to hide everything.

I personally don't think that selfies are such a big problem. Why is it bad to take a picture of yourself? Or show off looks? If you think you look nice, why not be able to flaunt it?
I saw like a 12 years old girl taking a selfie in a bus...I was so close to screaming "WTF are you doing with your life?!"
