Music For My Eyes: My Photo Project Shows Different Emotions Caused By The Same Songs
Music has a way of being present in our lives, whether we want it or not, on our daily routine and in special occasions. Because of that, it will always generate an emotion in each and every one of us that can be manifested in all kinds of ways.
I love photographing people and in this project, done as an assignment for university back in 2011, I wanted to capture what music can do to us using sight instead of hearing.
“Music for my eyes” shows how differently individuals can react to the same song and it made me wonder if having a portrait taken in that moment could give other people a bit of an insight into who the photographed are.

Share on FacebookAmazing project!!! I've always loved to watch people on the streets with headphones enjoying their music. But i really like the idea to know what they are hearing while seeing their emotions. Great work!
Thank you! I loved seeing their reactions as well and seeing what was similar and what was different between them!
